[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently swapped my studio monitor from an LCD to this OLED and the differences are highly noticeable. No longer experiencing mouse lag due to the screens high refresh rate which is so much nicer to work on. The picture looks crystal clear with brightness and colour looking on point. The monitor assembles easily to the stand within seconds and the screen looks great in my studio. Bigger isn’t always better as I found my previous 32” slightly too big which was straining my eyes but the 27” is perfectly uniform for the distance I am sitting from the monitor. I may have spent a little more than I intended but the upgrades are well worth the additional cost. I’m very happy!

I needed an upgrade and I saw this LG UltraGear OLED specs that ticks all my boxes with high refresh rate and color accuracy I needed for both video work and technical design. First thing I noticed when I turned it on was how crystal clear everything looked. OLED just pops in a way my old monitor never did. I spend at least 3 hours a day on this thing sometimes more depending on the project. So, when I am working late nights editing videos or finishing up PCB layouts, it's easier on my eyes. Set-up was super smooth and took me less than 10 minutes from opening the box to running it. The base got easily snapped to monitor onto the stand and adjustable stand and plugged HDMI to my laptop and pretty sturdy and no wobbling. Coming from that old, heavy monitor to this felt like a massive upgrade instantly. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using my 1440p 240 Hz OLED from LG and honestly, it’s brilliant. The colours look amazing, the blacks are deep, and the viewing angles are great. Gaming is super smooth and responsive I really wouldn’t want to go with any other brand.

It came in only three pieces and was incredibly easy to assemble—just a few minutes and it was on my desk. The adjustability is amazing too; you can raise the height and tilt the screen to perfectly fit your space. The color is vivid, bright, and super crisp, with true blacks and beautiful contrast. I chose this monitor for its response time and how well it handles dark scenes, and it definitely delivered. I can’t wait to see how it performs for gaming when my husband tries it, but I’m excited to use it for video editing and movie nights too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for gaming laptop and for my switch 2 and it’s great screen. I wish I got a bigger size but 27inch is a good fit for 1m desk. I love how sturdy the base is. Being able to tilt, up and down and left to right. Very fast and quick. Also when I press home button on my switch pro 2 controller it wakes the screen up. The same with my laptop. I want to purchase another to upgrade my husband gaming computer monitor.

Coming from my LG 27GN800B, which is 27 inches, 1440p 144hz, this monitor has almost no ghosting, while there is noticeable and somewhat mild ghosting on the 144hz monitor. The blacks of the oled is great, and colors pop more. My biggest problem with this new monitor is the color fringing. Just looking at the explorer and firefox icons, they have some noticeable but mild fringing. When playing counter strike, the fringing was much more noticeable on the text in game. If that was fixed and the colors out of the box were a bit better, it would get a higher rating from me.

This is a great monitor with a glorious glossy panel which makes the image clear compared to matte ones. It has a really big flaw though, which is an automatic brightness which cannot be disabled anywhere in the OSD. It bumps up the brightness when viewing bright content and dims when viewing dark content. It is very annoying and my eyes are very sensitive for such things. I have disabled Smart Energy Saving and Peak Brightness with no effect. I really hope that LG sees this and fixes with a Firmware Update. Please LG, I'd like to keep this monitor and don't have to deal with this auto brightness algorithm.
