H340 - microphone level unacceptably low
- March 11, 2018This product is priced at the low end so fragility and lack of durability is understandable, but NOT acceptable is the very low output level of the microphone. The purpose of the headset is to hear and create audio. With all audio settings on Windows 7 PC set at maximum, the output was barely audible. For applications such as talk-to-text the output is not sufficient for clear voice recognition. For applications such as audio participation on computer based communications, skype, etc., this product will not perform.

Good Sound and Comfort
- October 24, 2020I got this to use with my Linux setup. The playback sound is good, the microphone works well and the headset is comfy. Overall, a very good deal.

Great head phone set for online classes
- June 22, 2013[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with my purchase and I recommend this product. There were other cheaper models but I needed them for on-line classes an had certain requirements as the headset was going to be used alot. I needed to ensure that the microphone was good and captured your voice recording with clarity and the sound quality received was streamed well. In addition, comfort was a biggie as I was going to be wearing these for alot of hours. So far this headset and microphone has met all these requirements and the recordings are very clear.

h340 Headset
- August 2, 2016This headset is very fragile, the mic can be easily broken. I only had it for about 6 months and the mic broke, but the the output audio was fine. I was able to get a replacement and was given a new pair of the same model. Then the mic broke again in about the time span of 4 months. This headset works well the first few months, however, if you want a durable headset for everyday use I do not recommend this model.

Very flimsy
- April 9, 2014The USB plug is very fragile, easily wobbling around in its casing. Broke for me within a week, after being bumped into once. Poorly constructed, can't recommend.

Great for Price
- July 13, 2013[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am satisfied with the headphones. I use them for webex meetings at work. I have noticed that certain people's voices come in very quietly and/or not very clear. It's particularly annoying when there are several people on the conference call and some people's voices come in great, and others not at all. So i find that I have to constantly work with the volume. If it were a 1 on 1 conversation, they would work great.

good headsets for dictation
- April 24, 2013[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought a few of these headsets and some of the cheaper dynex ones for some lawyers who are doing dictation with Dragon software. These had much better sound quality and worked better with the software then the Dynex. These were also slightly more comfortable. The Dynex ones worked OK, but for only $10 more, we bought more of the logitech headsets for future use.

Not Great
- October 3, 2014I have had this headset for about 6 months. I often get complains from people I talk to that they can hardly hear me, I have to hold the mic close and speak very loud. I have checked all volume level controls, it is just not a good headset.

Complaints from listeners
- April 28, 2015I always need to hold the mic closer to the mouth, otherwise listeners complain they can barely hear me. Not what I expected. Otherwise its good but just annoying.
