Previous editions were very good but when I bought this one just because of the small length of Miq. It doesn't properly reach near my mouth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is horrible - it really hurts to wear it - ears are sore within a very sort time. The microphone is terrible and works at about 40% - -- the controls are on the outside of the one ear piece so it is easy to hit the mute and not know it when putting them on and taking them off . I am returning - biggest complaint is there is very little padding - if any on the earpieces. Should be the first part of R & D in a headset.... right? I called Logitech but customer service does not understand English and wrote up my complaint as "no pads on the earphone to make it software" -- what??? Logitech should stick to mice and keyboards --

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality of the speakers and microphone are good. The volume buttons on the right ear are placed in a convenient location. The mute button on the side has quit working. When it did work it was very nice to have a red light indicating you were muted. I've plugged it in to multiple different usb ports and functionality hasn't returned. I tried finding a software download, but it is plug and play. Only other word of advice is it would be great in a quiet office environment, but not great in a loud one as you pick up others conversations and the earphones definitely aren't noise cancelling. Still feel it is more than adequate at the price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this headset only a few days and it is terrible quality for the price. The wire is stiff to unfold. The stiffness of the wire causes issues and when the wire moves, with natural movement it causes disruption in sound, even cutting out when in conversation. The hissing can be heard and the echo is terrible. I had to put a cotton ball over the mic to cut down on the noise when in conversation on Skype. It's embarrassing. I would not recommend this headset to anyone and I am an avid Logitech fan. I have had better quality with the less expensive headsets which I am going to go back to. I got this one for the reason the mic is on the right side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this pair before years ago. Liked them. Build quality and comfort is nothing special, it just works. My last headset I got recently, I had problems with it. I gave them away and picked these up to hold hold me over. I appreciated them all over again. The sound is acceptable, nothing special. Mic works fine communication wise. Friends haven't complain at all, even when I use the near a fan. When reviewing video recordings with voice, I've noticed average/typical voice quality on my end, little to no background noise in normal circumstances. For a budget gaming headset, I -100%- recommend them in that regard.

My tests show the microphone sound is very good when i view videos i made and input from those on video conference. In a recent Video Conference i was advised my voice was distorted so i had to resort to non use of the headset. That was the only time. The headset is light and comfortable when in use. A small issue is that the microphone blends perfectly with the rest of the headset and is very short. The result is that when it is in the up position it is very difficult to find. Other than that Logitech always makes dependable products and this is another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset does just what you would want. It allows good communication on internet calls. The sound quality is pretty good, especially since it is an on ear design. There is really good base support for listening to music. They are light weight and comfortable for short sessions. I have found them to "pinch" my left ear a bit after a while. This may only be an issue for me, as I can't tell. This is my first set of headphones that clamp the ear as apposed to having a pocket for the ear to reside in. They seem to be robust enough so far. The mute button and volume control is a nice bonus feature. So far, I am happy with them... (I've used them for about three weeks now.)
