Not worth it

Had the keyboard for less than a week, lost the receiver. To buy a replacement receiver plus pay for shipping (I live in Toronto) costs more than to buy a new keyboard. Useless product with horrible support from Logitech. Would not recommend

Keys stick after 3 months

If you type/write alot, don't get this keyboard. Keys stick in place and require a knife to dislodge them. Second one of these keyboards I have gone through, the last time. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Second Review on Replacement

Got a replacement and tested the keyboard before walking it back home. The keys are still very wobbly to type on but is something I can type with and more of a preference for individuals. Upon the 6th day, I found that my "5 'key does register the keystroke properly even when fully depressed, exactly the same symptoms as the last keyboard where "G" "R" and "Tab" needs significant amount of force after the membrane has been fully depressed. I was not about to return this keyboard again so I opened it up. And right beside the 5 key I found some plastic shavings stuck to the back of the two IC sheets, making it uneven. The plastic shaving is the same color as the keyboard backing. After I've removed the shaving, the keyboard works reliably again. Logitech keyboards are well designed but this kind of QA issue is pretty ridiculous.

Cheap Wireless Keyboard that does not type very well

I was looking to get a cheap set of wireless keyboard for my system and landed on this one when it was on sale. The wireless function is fine, but this is a pretty bad keyboard by any standard. Type much much worse than my cheap K120 If you are lighter key-travel kind of typer, you will find this keyboard inadequate. If your typing style is more towards typing on a typewriter, then you might find this keyboard OK. 1. Key travel is OK 2. Key tactile feedback is horrible. It bottoms out with too little resistance 3. Key sensitivity is BAD on some keys. You can slowly depress a key and it still wouldn't register the keystroke. For my keyboard, I had to spam the G, R harder then the other keys to get a consistent input. I typically average about 117 wpm on a K120, but I am about 102 wpm on this keyboard. I will be refunding this today after a week of usage. It's just a bad keyboard over all. I guess if you are just using this for a TV to put in show titles, then it doesn't matter so much.

Can't beat the Price/Value

Picked it up last night - plugged in the receiver stub, done . Easy Peasy. Mouse is a bit small (Laptop size) but not a problem. Keyboard has some nice internet/media buttons. Can't beat it for the price with 36 month life on the keyboard batt and 18 month on the mouse (Oh yeah Batteries INCLUDED)

The product itself is fine. Your delivery system is terrible. We have someone here 5 days a week 8-4 and the item was taken to the post office and never directly delivered to the office--we received a card in our mailbox telling us to go pick it up--which meant we had to send someone to pick it up which we are way to busy to do -- that is why we ordered it online.. For that reason alone I will no longer use your online purchasing system.

No encryption, No unifying mouse.

If you are looking for any of the above features. Do not assume anything if BestBuy website says yes, but the box says no, that means NO!

Not good, returned it 3 hours after purchase

Bought it for a desktop computer to replace a wired keyboard and mouse. Mouse is a little small (laptop sized) and keys are a little loud. I could have dealt with that, but the main problem is that the keyboard and mouse were cutting in and out. When I would type, sometimes it took 3-4 seconds for the words to show up on the screen. At one point, I copied and pasted an email address into outlook... it wasn't working so i hit paste about 5 times... 7-8 seconds later, I had 6 email addresses in window. Mouse was also jumpy. The receiver was only 1.5-2 ft away from the keyboard/mouse - well within it's "30 foot range". Returned it, got a Microsoft setup, works like a charm, and quieter with a bigger mouse.

Great keyboard and mouse

Great keyboard and mouse. Narrow, perfect, with real keyboard feel. Just plug in and play with Win10, no installation. Wow. I wish Logitech made printers.

Purchased 2 of these MK270 combos

I have two different computers (one linux, one windows) on the desk and wanted to declutter all the cables, so I purchased 2 of these combo units. My concern was that they may cross talk and when I wanted to type on one, it might type on the other, or if I moved one mouse, the other might move. This never happened. They only respond to the wireless adapter which came with each (which is what I was hoping for). The action on the keys is great and so far the action on the mouse is also perfect. No complaints. In fact, they were really fast at delivering the items. 5 stars!

My Kids Love this

Great replacement for our old PS2 keyboard and mice. No more wires that getting tangled or limit the the work area. The only hassle is they use different battery sizes (KB - uses 2-AAA, mice uses 1-AA). But anyway it works flawlessly. Thanks for these great deal.

Get it A.S.A.P!!!

Very great typing experience on Logitech keyboard. And the mouse is also great! This is not "unify" receiver, but this is ok. One receiver for both keyboard and mouse.

Under performing

Just got this keyboard to replace my well used Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Sadly the mouse of the Logitech MK270 is out of sync and lagging. It could very well be a factory fault as I have had great experiences with Logitech in the past. Be cautious with this model though.

Basic keyboard and mouse. First time we have had a wireless one. It works well.

Basic WIreless Keyboard and Mouse Combo that Works

This is a basic wireless keyboard and mouse combo that should be sufficient for most computer users. The keyboard does not take up much space with the trusted Logitech build quality. The mouse could be a bit small for some users with big hands; this is more a portable mouse for laptops. No problem whatever for connectivity and compatibility with Windows. Batteries last longer than you would expect. I would recommend this unit for someone looking for a basic wireless keyboard and mouse combo, especially when it is on sale.

Mouse has been okay, but keyboard freezes

Have only had this for less than 24 hours, however so far the keyboard freezes up VERY frequently for 10+ seconds which is very difficult to deal with in an office setting. It also doesn't bring my computer out of sleep by clicking the mouse or hitting a button on the keyboard which usually happens (even after turning on/off the mouse and keyboard). Unfortunately I think I will have to return this for another product as the freezing is significant enough to affect my business.

Perfect.. But

The key board is really nice and does the job. However, the structure is too weak, especially with the flaps on... I mean if i was typing when am a bit upset, i can actually feel the keyboard bend. There also seems to be some serious time lag between when i type and when it registers on the screen.

So far so good

I had the mk320 before I got this mk270 a couple weeks ago. The only thing I dislike about this one so far is that the battery cover for the mouse slides off during use once in awhile.

  • from Surrey, BC

Love it

This keyboard and mouse is amazing,,work perfectly for me..,,there is a caps lock on indicator in the top right side of the keyboard beside the on and off switch ...😄👍🏼

Keeps my office running

Don't kid yourself, this is not your high-precision backlit gaming keyboard. But for the money, it's a great little plinker of a wireless set. I can't remember the last keyboard/mouse set I had that wasn't Logitech and this is keeping my loyalty. Even then, it works just fine for a little bit of gaming.

Good For Light-Use, Short Range

Bought this for our Smart TV. Good for the occasional amount of typing required, but very limited range for the bluetooth compatibility.

  • from Van. BC

As per Cap Locks !!!

Judy, please open your eyes as the Cap Lock Light comes on right beside the on/off switch. "A" in a box that lights up when you use the cap lock button. Please learn to open the peepers and read before asking questions so plain as the nose on your face, thanks.

Keyboard is great... mouse not so much.

Purchased this set on sale at a very reasonable price. Used in an office setting so on the computer all the time. The keyboard works great, and is actually quieter than our old one when typing! No delay in typing with the wireless connection. Two slight flaws: 1) that Num Lock is only displayed on the screen when it's turned off/on, not as a light on the keyboard, 2) the space is very tight between the number keys etc. at the top of the key board and the function keys at the very top (I press the function keys sometimes instead of backspace or a number). The mouse on the other hand...... It has lag, and the cursor speed/accuracy is off and finicky. I've tried turning down the speed both in settings and by downloading the Logitech SetPoint app but I don't find it makes a difference. Actually went back to using my old USB wired mouse after a week. On sale, it's worth it though just for the keyboard.

Response problems

Sometimes, often the keyboard doesn't respond. I start writing and nothing happens on the screen. Sometimes there is a long delay in the response. Sometimes the mouse has a jumpy response on the screen Perhaps I'm doing something wrong??????

Love it!

oops, disregard previous post about caps lock, it's for a different wireless ergonomic keyboard, also from Logittech...love that one too but don't know when caps lock is on. The 2nd one ordered for my other computer is great! LOVE IT!

  • from Surrey, BC

How do you know when CAPS LOCK is on?

I love this keyboard and mouse! The only thing I don't like is I CANNOT TELL WHEN THE CAPS LOCK is on....is there a secret way I don't know about? Otherwise, awesome

Best keyboard ever

I have used this model for several years. Had one at my home, then office, and got one again for my macbook. this is the best one i have used in terms of being extremely budget friendly. i like the keyboard response time. the mouse could be small for really big hands but is OK for my mid sized hands...i

Exactly what we needed!

I bought this for my Grandson. We needed it to be wireless and compact as he has a small desk. It suits his needs perfectly and he doesn't have cords to deal with. He can use it on his top bunk bed!!

  • from Vancouver, BC

Very nice product!

The keyboard is amazing. It does freeze up a little every once in a while for a few seconds but other than that, it's great. The batteries in the mouse die quickly - usually after about 5-6 days depending on how much you use it. Both items are very quick to set up and use, easy to clean and overall much better than the wired outdated accessories.

awesome keyboard & mouse!

The keyboard and the mouse are very simple and complete. I like it!

  • from Aurora, ON

Excellent set

Got this for my son, wireless was paramount as well as did not want a full size keyboard. Wireless distance and link are excellent. keyboard size is medium, in that its the same length as others, but slimmer. All in all works quite well, seems to be sturdy...no complaints

  • from Guelph, ON

Simply works great

Full size keyboard is great. No complaints
