• The additional speed provided by CAT6 cables is mostly due to an increase in frequency. A CAT6 cable has a frequency of 250 Mhz, which is around 250 million cycles per second.

• Another advantage of CAT6 cables is their ability to reduce the impact of "crosstalk" (interference from other nearby cables that disrupt the normal flow of data within a cable).

• This CAT6 ethernet cable is CMR Riser rated, which means that, along with being able to be safely run through walls or ceilings, it can be run between floors in non-plenum areas.

• The jacket of this CAT6 ethernet cable has been constructed to withstand the outdoors. It is completely waterproof, UV treated, and can also be run underground.

• The diameter of the cable is 6.0±0.2mm
