    Huge Performance Upgrade

    Reviewed by Märchen - June 17, 2025

Recently picked this up alongside the pro Controllor and the smaller travel case. The console itself is a huge upgrade over the original and even the OLED. My only gripe with it is the lack of an OLED model thus far and the battery relative to the OLED model. The controls are a big plus, the old joy cons were terrible for me but the newer ones while still not comparable to a normal controller, are miles better. It’s not the best value option as far as gaming or even handhelds go but it definitely doesn’t fall far behind other ones. As far as couch party consoles go, still the best one by far.

    A Must Get Console

    Reviewed by Anton - November 21, 2025

Large screen, faster processor and better graphics. Does 4K when docked to the TV. I like how the joy-con controllers lock in place using a maganized connection rather than then sliding it into tracks. Was able to move saved screenshots and videos from the switch’s MicroSd card to the Switch 2 using that as card. Yes it’s true that this console needs the Micro Sd Express card. It’s worth it and it’s a minor inconvenience, but thrrr is lots of system memory in the mean time. Original joy-con controllers can still be used on this console by pairing them like you would with a pro controller. And yes your switch 1 game cartridges will work on this console.

    Next Gen Racing Perfection

    Reviewed by mikesplay - April 18, 2026

The Nintendo Switch 2 feels like a massive leap forward for handheld gaming. The new 7.9-inch 1080p screen is remarkably sharp, making the vibrant environments in Mario Kart World pop with incredible detail. Performance is noticeably smoother compared to the original hardware, with consistent frame rates even during chaotic races. The Joy-Cons feel more refined and responsive, providing excellent tactile feedback. Transitioning between handheld and docked mode is seamless. For anyone prioritizing visual clarity and processing power in a portable format, this system delivers a premium experience that handles modern titles with impressive ease and stability.

    Switch 2 is great!

    Reviewed by JC - June 12, 2025

I am absolutely in love with this console, There is so much misinformation and fake news going around. Just to clear stuff your not going to get your console bricked, Yes you do own your console, don't be dumb and your not going to break the rules that get you banned. Not its not that overpriced, look at other competitors and let me know which ones support 4k 60fps or 1440p 120fps... Its a GOOD deal Only down side is the price of games but that's kinda fine, buying new games, at least official titles are more of a treat than a common purchase, I have hundreds of games on my steam account I'll never actually touch, with Nintendo games, I already know I'm dropping HOURS into it. Also I can just buy second hand games, no rush there.

Great with only a few cons

    Reviewed by J - June 9, 2025

Having owned the original switch for over 6 years, it's clear to see that this was a big upgrade. Bigger screen, more memory, better graphics, faster processor and new features like the joy-con mouse. That being said, I do wish they would have released the switch 2 with an OLED screen. If I'm paying a significant amount of more money vs the Switch 1 OLED I want it to be better in every aspect. I'm sure they're going to release a Switch 2 OLED and it's going to be a money grab. The battery life on the switch 2 is also mediocre, gets less than 2 hours on cyberpunk. The price is also really steep compared to what the Switch 1 went for on release. The only big reason to buy the switch 2 right now would be for Mario Kart and not a lot of people want to spend that kind of cash just for one game. It does run Pokemon Scarlet/Violet much better and I do see a massive improvement in graphics and texture so the upgrade is definitely there. For some it's a must buy for others who are still content with their og switch it may be best to wait it out for prices to drop. They may even make an OLED version in a year or two

    Garbage screen

    Reviewed by Sim - June 30, 2025

At first the screen looks good when playing Mario Kart World. But as soon as you play any classic 2D games the flaws of this cheap LCD screen is so garbage even my 10 years old ipad had a better display. The image is blurry in motion it is distracting to look at. Charging customers with a premium console price but using much outdate hardware and CPU pairing it with this trash screen defeat the purpose of a portable system.

    Not worth the price IMO

    Reviewed by Nintendo - June 8, 2025

Not worth the price in my opinion:( the graphics are better (due to the larger screen which is also nice) but everything else is mid for the price point. I’ll just keep the last switch that came out as they are basically the same, until a better deal comes available:)

    Worse than Switch 1

    Reviewed by Rick - June 12, 2025

Worse battery than the first switch one makes it worse for me. Its bigger size makes it hard to be a portable device and too heavy to carry around. Returned and will probably stick to my switch oled

This console is bigger , better , sexier ….. Idk what else to say except the fact that I noticed I paid 980$ after taxes with the warranty ( for the first 3 hours after buying it I didn’t even look at the price ) Worth it if you love Nintendo and got the money tho ;)
