Purchased the Philips Norelco Bodygroom 1100 about a month ago. Worked very well the first time used. Unfortunately the 3mm adapter is not as robust as it could be. It broke in half. The good thing is that Philips Customer Service is planning to replace it. That's great!

I initially had apprehensions about the use of this Product and it turned to be true. I have lengthy body hair and i tried trimming them in both the directions by the 3mm blade but IN VAIN. They did not go. Infact i used for the arm pits too but no effect noticed. I had to finally shave with a low cost razor. But what about my body hair? Why can't i trim it using the 3mm blade? Your guide or reviews did not mention the direction the trimmer should be moving in order to get a nice perfect trim (although i had moved the trimmer using the 3 mm blade both upwards & downwards direction). I need to return this Product asap as its a hog wash.

Worked great for a little over a year until the 1/8" comb snapped at the corner. I knew it would be an issue so I was very careful with it when removing the comb to clean the trimmer blades. They no longer make replacement combs for it and the shorter comb trims closer than I'm comfortable with. Not sure why they continue selling a product that doesn't have any replacement parts. Kind of ridiculous that this will end up in a landfill because they can't replace a cheap piece of plastic.

I bought it last week. Have been trying to use it for a good and decent trim at the sensitive areas. It took a decade to trim my Armpits and it is not soo effective in triming the hair in groin area as well. Sometimes, astonishingly it gives smooth trim, but then again, only at some particular places. Not inricate locations. Hard maneuverability. And takes a lot of time. Does not work in all the directions as advertised or claimed, it cuts hair only in the opposite direction of the growth of hair follicle. Or if there exists a proper way to get a really smooth trim as advertised, then the method is not stated properly. Could use a little guidance. Thank you.

Item received via delivery in good condition and neatly wrapped. I tried on my skin and true to its words, it does not hurt my skin at all - although I have not yet to try on my private parts. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Com is not strong. Com is to delicate. And trimmer it's rechargeable. Rechargeable hota to or acha hota.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trimmer works very well. It isn't the fastest model you'll use but if you don't let your situation get too out of control and you maintain regular grooming intervals then it's great. Does a very good job protecting the sensitive areas from nicks and cuts while shaving extremely close with the shortest guard attachment. It's small and easy to maneuver as well. Some people may not like the fact that it's powered by a AA battery but I think it's great in this case. The battery seems to last quite a while and if you run out of juice you can just throw a new battery in. Rechargeable AA batteries work also. Overall, this was a great purchase for less than $20 and a much better tool than typical beard trimmers for sensitive areas.

Just received the "Philips Bodygroom series 1000 body groomer BG105/10" and am more than pleased. Tried this out straight away and its so easy to use, it was perfect for down below, used the 3mm and 0.5mm guards and had no problems with pulling or nicks, everything now neat & tidy. the "skin protection system" works a treat, wish they had this on the other Body Groom product, wish this product had more/longer combs for other body areas. Would be great if it was rechargeable and had a travel case/pouch to keep everything safe, but this would put the price up
