OPEN-BOX TCL 98" QM6K QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (98QM6K) (LOCAL TORONTO DELIVERY ONLY)

QD-Mini LED:

TCL's QD-Mini LED combines the merits of QLED and OLED technologies, transforming the traditional backlight into lighting that is close to pixel-level precision. It also utilizes the world's leading QLED technology, offering contrast and colour gamut comparable to OLED while also providing higher peak brightness and a longer lifespan.

Halo Control Technology:

The TCL all-domain halo control technology covers the entire path from light generation to imaging. It’s a combination of TCL-developed high-efficiency light-emitting chips and lens technology, Micro-Optical Distance technology, light and shadow control algorithms and high-end HVA Panel technology, effectively solving the halo problem and delivering a premium viewing experience through system-level precise control of light.

Precise Dimming Series:

The new generation of powerful light-emitting chip, condensed Micro lens and Micro-OD make the light shape of individual zones more perfect, and the halo control ability is several times that of ordinary zones. Combined with an HVA panel with high native contrast ratio and the world's leading light and shadow control algorithm, Precise Dimming series shapes the real light and shadow so that the TV's comprehensive picture quality performance is dramatically improved compared to ordinary TVs, bringing an upscale image experience.

Powerful Light-Emitting Chip:

Compared with traditional LED microchips, QM6K's ground-breaking Powerful Light-Emitting microchip significantly improves brightness and energy efficiency that makes both bright and dark scenes ultra clear.

Condensed Micro Lens:

TCL’s own condensed micro lens technology precisely controls light direction through its arched bridge dimming design. Its selection of yellowing-resistant optical materials and nano engraving technique enhances backlight uniformity and halo control for clearer screen details.

Super Micro-OD:

With TCL's powerful Mini LED optical technology, the QM6K has an astonishingly low micro-optical distance (Micro-OD). This allows the TV to be very slim and puts an end to the halo effect using the super condensed micro lens and ultra-high zones, giving the night’s stars a sharp yet deep and delicate appearance.

Dynamic Lighting Algorithm:

Combining human perception characteristics and picture pixel information, lighting details are optimized for SDR and HDR content, increasing the contrast and clarity of light and dark scenes.

Zero-Delay Transient Response:

TCL’s zero-delay transient response prevents dark shadows, bright spots and blur caused by backlight lag in scenes with fast motion, making the picture sharper and enhancing the overall viewing experience.
