Don't know yet how long the batteries will last - time will tell. Just installed them last night. But old batteries lasted three years. New batteries look exactly like old batteries. To follow instructions in booklet that came with phones, be sure to remove old batteries positive ends first, and install new batteries negative ends first, and avoid touching connections with your hands. Allow at least seven hours to charge before using phone.

Before purchasing new phones we decided to purchase these rechargable batteries to see if they would make a difference. We first tested one phone with these new batteries. It not only keeps its charge, the speaker phone option now works again. We are going to purchase these batteries for our other cordless phones.

These are the same ones that were original to the unit. Since replacing them, I have had no problems and my phone stays charged for days even when left off its base. I think these might be limited to use in a rechargeable phone.

(It didn't solve my speaker phone issue -- no sound any more -- which might be on the fritz due to falls in the past, but I thought it was because of a low/old battery.) Standard size fits most models. Ask a "geek" before buying to be certain.

You need them, you need the right ones, these work for my phones. They did cost more than I thought they would, though -- but if they last as long (several years) as the originals that's not too bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an older model Panasonic Dect phone system from Costco. One of the phones was not holding a charge anymore. These are not the same model batteries that came with phone, but I read as long as the voltage was the same it would be fine. These batteries did the trick and the phone is like new again.

I always liked Panasonic good name good company for years but sad couldn’t see it in person anymore miss it and so I had to go online is new to me and that for your help and I for the batteries for my phone and hope I found out the problems. less in cost of it all together but thanks was great !

We replaced them with these in our phone and now the phones are working well again. Initially we thought that we may have to buy a new phone, but with this change of battery we do not have to buy a new phone.

Pay the extra money & get the batteries that were made for your device. However, I happened to get these while they were on sale for a great price.

We were already thinking abou getting a new phone (this one is over 7 years old) but saw that Best Buys still carries the replacement batteries. They work PERFECT! Thanks Best Buys!
