[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this portable drive a couple months ago. I got it because I am a wrestling coach and was recording all the matches. In no time my phone memory was filled up with videos and I had no room to even use my phone. This sleek little feller right here is awesome. It magnetized to my mag safe phone and the best part is that it is paper thin and light weight, so it's like it's not even there. It connects to my Galaxy tab s10 ultra, my s23 ultra, and my surface pro 9 seamlessly. Which allows me to transfer data with ease. It's so compact that I bring it everywhere. P

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, I knew this was going to be super easy to setup and use. It even comes with two cables to plug into with a standard USB to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C. All you have to do is plug it in and run the software install file that pops up. Setup even let's you encrypt the drive for privacy or you can leave it off if you wish. Deciding if you want to encrypt or not is the hardest part of setup and use. Samsung has done it again! The drive doesn't get too hot and maintains its speed without over heating because of its thermal control feature it has. The T7 is very compact and lightweight for easy transport and it won't take up too much storage space in your case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros + small and portable + fast + easy setup + user-friendly (plug and go) Cons - very smooth (which could be prone to sliding and falling if not on a flat/leveled surface) - would be nice if it had a feature or warning that this device is overheating (haven't had this issue yet, but it would be nice to know if it starts to overheat) If any company out there could make a simple silicone case/wrap to give it some grip and added protection on the corners and edges, to avoid sliding or slipping out your fingers, that would be a great compliment to this device. Overall the product is solid and works great with no issues yet. Quality for the price, will be buying more in the future.

The biggest advantage is the speed—file transfers are incredibly fast compared to traditional external hard drives. I regularly move large datasets and project files, and it handles everything smoothly without lag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great storage device. It transfers data very fast. My only problem is have had with this is when I have it plugged into phone or pc it will disconnect for no reason even though I haven't moved the device or data cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SSD is a great product overall. For one, it packs a big storage space, which was able to store many files. I moved over thousands of pictures and videos, which it handled easily. It also uses the USB-C 3.2 interface, which made it easy to connect to phones, allowing me to access files on the go, without a computer. The transfer speed was fantastic, I was able to transfer gigabytes upon gigabytes of media with ease. Lastly, the durability seems great. It looks to be made of durable metals, surviving some bending. Overall, a great storage solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Samsung's portable SSDs ever since I got my first 256GB T3 drive 4 years ago. I must say, the T7 is a great upgrade. The size of the unit is roughly the size of a credit card and only 8mm thin making it so easy to slide into a pocket of your clothing or bag and take it anywhere. The built-in hardware encryption is a great feature. There is even a read-only partition on the drive that includes the installation software for when you need to access the drive on a new computer. My own personal speed tests gave 1004.6 MB/s read and 915.93 MB/s write (Blazing fast!!). The NVMe technology has certainly given this drive a leg up over the older Samsung models. The SSD also stayed cool during even extended transfer sessions. Would highly recommend.
