Instructions for use:

1. Remove debris such as loose soil, weeds, and pebbles from the soil to be tested. If the soil is too dry or contains too much fertilizer, spray some water and leave it for about 25-30 minutes before testing.

2. Clean the metal surface of the electrode thoroughly with a damp cloth before testing.

When using the detector for the first time, insert the electrode into the soil several times to remove the oil on the surface so as not to affect the accuracy of the pH value or humidity.

3. Insert the detector vertically into the soil to be tested, making sure that the electrode fits completely with the surrounding soil. After about 10 minutes, the detector will display the correct pH value and humidity.

The detector sometimes displays different values, depending on the soil conditions, the adhesion of the metal surface of the detector, the humidity conditions, etc. Therefore, it is better to measure several times and take the average value.

4. Press the button on the side of the meter, and the instrument will display the humidity of the soil.

5. After using the detector, clean the electrode with clean water, wipe it dry and store it.
