After owning several Sony Camera's including a A99 and a RX10M3, I am very pleased with the RX10M4. The A99 which was a Full Frame Camera was the best performer, however including two lenses, was very heavy especially when you went on holiday. The RX10m3 including it's 24-600 lense made travelling with a camera much easier. Plus it took very good photo's. The Sony RX10M4 is a vast improvement with it's faster Focus, with the ability to change the main focal point. The 24 FPS is also a major step forward, especially when taking action shots. I look forward to the future with this camera to record our memories. I look forward to seeing what the Mark 5 will bring to improve the camera.

I bought this just before Christmas as one of the main features my previous Cybershot didn't have was the continuous auto focussing, which I wanted for wildlife photography. I'm still experimenting, which is why I haven't given it five stars yet as I need to be convinced that it's worth the large investment. Have had some impressive results so far but they're inconsistent and I haven't mastered the slo mo videos either, which appear to struggle to focus but are fine when taken on my Sony phone. It could be operator trouble so will continue to practise with all of the functions of the camera as a whole. The quality of the photos when it does focus properly far exceeds the ones taken with my previous HX400v camera!

I am so pleased that I have changed over to this Sony RX10iv, having come over from a DSLR using a 150-600mm lens I found it much lighter and do not have to carry much to any gear around with me due to my condition and finding it harder to walk these days this fits my needs for my Wildlife photography and the pin sharp eye detail is phenomenal and the amazing 24fps and the looped slow motion is unbelievably good and the pictures really sharp. Just over the moon with it ( and the moon pics are out of this world)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is fantastic at allow you to use the zoom and get pictures of nature and candid street scenes also. If you are new to cameras this one makes it pretty easy. If you don't want to figure it out yourself just turn it to "automatic" for pictures and it comes out great. If you want a little more fun turn the dial to "scene" and choose one of those. If you want to take video it gets a bit more complicated but nothing a quick youtube video won't solve and you will have great video as well.

Sometimes, in life, the decisions you make can turn out to be extremely good ones. I selected the RX10 1V as my camera of choice after extensive research, and as I learn and experiment more with the features that the camera provides I am more than satisfied with my purchase. I have been fortunate enough to have produced some high quality images of a wide range of subjects during the last 14 months, and as I learn and experiment more with the RX10 1V the features it provides are seemingly boundless. It is the perfect camera for travel enthusiasts as well, providing professional quality images across all the categories of photography without the need for additional lenses and accessories. I cannot be happier than I am with the camera, and it has ensured that I will have many more years of enjoyment as I search for that 'perfect' photo.

I was skeptical of buying a bridge camera after years of using a DSLR. Love that I don’t need a big bag to carry a camera and lenses The aperture and focal range were a real surprise and Sony have managed to squeeze in an unusually large censor into a bridge. Only negative has been down to navigating the controls, partly due to change of camera brand and type but it hasn’t been an easy transition. But do love what it cans do.

I bought this camera as I didn't want to go down the " big bag of bits " route. I prefer one camera to do it all, I know this isn't always the case but the Sony dsc rx10 mk4 is as close as you'll get at the moment. It has good close up capability, a reasonable zoom and fast focusing for moving shots. Here are some recent pictures.

I’ve had this camera for just coming up to a year now, and can honestly say I love everything about it . Quality of build is excellent and the photo quality for this type of camera is nothing short of first class. I’ve included a few shots that have been taken over the last year.

Image quality is better then expected for a small sensor with long focal length. between the auto focus and image quality this is a better choice than other cameras with more focal length!

I bought this camera about a month ago, and I am glad that I did. Photography is a hobby of mine, and this camera has made my hobby more enjoyable. I have been learning to shoot hummingbirds and birds in flight and this camera does a remarkable job.
