I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years. I found that this 23-piece tool kit provides all of the essential screwdrivers, bits, tweezers and spudgers needed to repair virtually any smartphone, tablet or laptop. It’s the perfect addition to my electronics repair case, for working on a wide range of mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, HP Chromebook, Lenovo Think Pad, Acer, Chromebook and MacBook. I like to well organized case which is included. It has the perfect assortment of tools for my electronics repair needs. I have tested this kit to repair a several different mobile devices items including hard drives, iPhones and Xbox One controllers. The kit is made of hard rigid plastic both on the outside shell and inside where the tools are stored. The size of he case is slightly thicker than a large internal computer hard drive. All of the pieces click into place nicely and won't fall out even if you open the case and shake it upside down. The "clear" cover is ruined by the product label that is almost the entire size of the kit and glued securely to the front so you can't see through the cover. When removing the tolls from the case they take a bit of prying to come out. The screwdriver is a very good design and by far the best of any I have used in the past. I wish there was an extra "guitar pic" style pry-tool as it is nice to pry lightly around the edge of mobile screens with multiple. This is one of the best tool sets I have used for mobile device repair. I wish I could purchase more tips for this well designed screwdriver. Everyone who I have showed this too also likes it a lot. Tool kit has all the necessary items needed in a small compact case. I would suggest rubber corners so if dropped it would stand up better.

Bought it for the T4 bit for working on laptops. The bit stripped out after using it on 3 laptops.

As a wanna be techie, I am always being asked to talk a look at some type of computer and while I have a ton of tools, I don't have anything as compact, light and full featured as this toolkit. It comes with all the basic tools that you would require to open any computer, phone, tablet and many other items where you need strong and smallish tools. It even functions as a partial watch toolkit as if I pair it with some my watch repair tools I have a combined wealth of tools to work on just about anything that required fine or small tools. I concur with another review that the case the tools come in could do with extra thick plastic or rubber on the edges to guard against falls and other bumps. The catch when you close the case could also be a little stronger but you can always buy a pouch or small case to put this all in - safe and secure. So far, I have done some minor repairs on a computer, phone, tablet, a couple of watches (with other tools), and some household things that required more finesse type tools. Love it all and we know having the right tools make all go smoothly. This product does come with StarTech's standard 2 year warranty. They fully back what they sell. A great recommended purchase for sure. The pricing is good as well - inline with other similar features toolkits. Go out and add it to your tool bag as you won't regret it.
