[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My company had been buying small desktops which don't have regular vga ports anymore. They have gone to these DisplayPort style to conserve space. The problem is a lower end monitor off the shelf won't come with that cable. So you gotta get one of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hooked up a Dell with Display Port source to monitor with DVI connection. It works. Long enough to reach where I needed to go. Had to order on-line. Not stocked in local store. Nice to use a single cable.
