[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Need to clone SATA HDDs/SDDs? Want to USB-dock & use external HDD/SDD storage to an existing computer for short/long-term, but maintain remove-ability? This unit performs 100 according to its specs. I have cloned & external tethered SATA HDDs & SDDs without fail or complications. I have used this dock to recover data from failing drives, where I had no choice but to physically cool down the failing drive during data recovery. It's a very welcomed addition to my literal bag of HDD/SDD tricks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit but the speeds are less than I expected. My old unit's write speed was approx. 140 MP/S and with this unit, my write speed is 40 MP/S. I plugged the USB 3.0 cable into my motherboard and tried it in an extension as well - same results. The speed issue is not a deal breaker. While there are hinged covers, a dust cover would be nice. Controls are clearly labeled and well placed.

This dock is great, ive used it with SSDs and HDDs and both work flawlessly on this. I mainly used it to clone my drives. The best thing about this in my opinion is that you have the option to turn on each dock individually instead of them all being on at the same time like some other's i've used. Ill probably be buying another soon

We have three of these in the building and have never had an issue of any kind with them. They run 24/7, don't get hot in the slightest, and we've all just grown accustomed to them being there. If you want something quiet, reliable, and just so good that you will forget that it is there, this is the product for you..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only gave this product 1 star because it was not what I needed. and I returned it I really couldn't say if it was good or not. I needed a docking station that could handle old IDE drives and this only handled the SATA hard drives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two of these and they both work great! They work with regular hard drives, laptop hard drives and even SSD's. USB 3.0 makes it very fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works just find with Samsung SSDs but I cant make it work with my Sandisk SSDs....no fix available online that I can find....kind of odd.
