    Not good for tablets

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hoping to use the hdmi port on my 11.6" Insignia table to do Power Point projection. However, the device has no command to share the video output to a projector like laptops do. It does have the ability to connect to wireless projectors, but not wired ones (that I could find). So I had to return it. However, testing it on my laptop that could connect to wired projectors showed it worked beautifully. So my conclusion is that it is not good for tablets, at least the two Insignia's I tried.

    Works Like a Charm !

    Purchased this item for my HP Envy 19 Laptop. Laptop only had a HDMI connection and my monitor only had a VGA connection. Didn't want to buy a new monitor so gave this a try. It connected with no issue and works great. Highly recommend this item.

    Good adapter and easy installation

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adapter worked well out of the box. It was no problem to connect, so anyone can use it. The connections fit snugly. There's no worry about them coming loose. I would recommend it even though there were others that cost more.

    not for blu-ray
