Great budget flight stick
- October 14, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great system, easy to setup, plenty of buttons for keybinds. Only thing that would make this 5 stars is if there throttles for both engines.

Its an awesome Joystick controller .
- January 31, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hotas joystick specifically to play Star Wars Squadrons on Xbox One. The game is great and works well with the game pad but for the best experience you need a joystick. I liked that it would work with a pc as well. On all counts it works great, especially with Squadrons. It takes getting used to just because it has a lot of buttons and you have to get used to the configuration. The buttons are mapped somewhat like the default settings on an Xbox game pad, but not all. But it is all customizable. And it feels great! One feature that I wasn't expecting is a switch that changes from Xbox to PC mode. I switched it over and plugged in to my HP and it was recognized and set up without any more steps. The one issue I have with it, is that it does have limited uses. I wondered if it may be usable with other games such as fps but it isn't even recognized as a controller. I took one star out just for the limited uses. But, man! Totally worth it for flight sims and arcade dogfights.

GREAT “STARTER” HOTAS FLIGHT STICK AND THROTTLE
- January 10, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] REVIEW: THRUSTMASTER - TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE JOYSTICK OFFICIALLY LICENSED FOR XBOX SERIES X|S, XBOX ONE AND PC Model:4460168 GREAT “STARTER” HOTAS FLIGHT STICK AND THROTTLE Without totally breaking the bank, the TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE (Hands On Throttle And Stick) creates a very immersive experience. I primarily purchased it for “Star Wars Squadron” on the PC and have thoroughly enjoyed using it. I’ve never really got the hang of console controllers on the PC, and mouse and keyboards for games like this take too much muscle memory for every obscure function. The TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE just feels right for these kinds of games. I was glad to see it also works on the XBOX which I’ve not tried yet, but plan to soon. Updating the Firmware is difficult, but a must, and you must install the software BEFORE YOU PLUG IN THE CONTROLLER. The previous THRUSTMASTER sticks I have purchased in the 1990’s were junk and broke quickly (which kept me from buying this brand for the past 25 years), but I felt more comfortable after reading the reviews that this investment would last for a while. BEST FEATURES - Stick and Throttle can be combined or detached - Good Seeming Build Quality - All Buttons are clearly labeled making setup easier on games - Long enough (for me) connector to the PC USB port - Manually Adjustable Resistance (on the stick) - Included Allen Wrench for combining Stick and Throttle (under stick) SETUP PAY ATTENTION TO THE DIRECTIONS, which tell you to load the software drivers first, and then when instructed connect the stick to the computer. Of course, I did not and it took me about 2 hours to dig the drivers out and start over again. I had a real hard time getting the firmware to install (maybe because of not installing the drivers correctly). I found the firmware update tool would not see the TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE unless I unplugged and re-plugged it in while it was searching. It took a few times repeating (plug / unplug) before the firmware installed fully. I was not expecting to have to “map” most of the buttons manually on Squadrons, but there are plenty of hints you can search out online. I could not understand why my ship would not accelerate, then I realized I had to do the mappings. Once I got the buttons mapped and printed out a map, I was blasting rebels with ease. OVERALL IMPRESSION I call the TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE a starter stick, but that is not a knock. You won’t find flashing lights, or vibration feedback or automatic resistance as on some higher end sticks. But it also not $300 either. It has a good weight but is plastic not metal. There are no clamps, so it could more on a slippery desk. None of these things detract from what it is. The TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE is a good basic, but advanced enough stick for casual use. It does not pretend to be any more than what it is. SUMMARY / CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION I would recommend the TMSTR T-FLIGHT HOTAS ONE for anyone just getting started with this type of controller, or for anyone who does not want to spend an arm and a leg on something more advanced (and more complicated to operate). I think youth and adults will be equally happy with the overall experience this stick provides.

Would buy it again.
- January 17, 2026[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great with quit a few games the joystick has an external stiffness rotating wheel under the yoke mount and the ability to use the trigger with all the other buttons and axis is excellent. Very sensitive and precise if you take your time. Well worth it even with the limited game list and no fun. And the best part for me is the ability to unhook the throttle from the stick mounting with the attached wrench on the bottom.

Learning curve!
- December 30, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used joy sticks before, but they were nowhere as sophisticated as they are now. In other words, I am about 20 years behind on flight simulators! Today is my first try using them and at the moment I am frustrated! I like the feel of it and like having a throttle rather than having to use the keyboard, but I need to have the patience to learn how to set everything up. Once that is done, I believe I will like it! I hope!

Works well for the price
- April 11, 2026[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this is not top tier quality, and honestly i need way more buttons than this provides. The cable separating the two parts is very short. I can barely fit my keyboard between it, but i generally just angle the kb and it works well enough. That's all the bad points. It's solid enough, if a bit light. The buttons are solid. The motion is quite smooth and accurate. I don't think I've had to adjust dead zoe in any game yet. Overall, especially considering the relatively low cost, it's worth it if you don't plan to go to a higher level HOTAS at some point. If you don't mind relying on your keyboard, the amount of buttons is fine.

Decent quality at a decent price
- March 20, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for Ace Combat 7 after being out of the aerial combat game for a while and I’m loving it. Pros: Can be used as one unit or split into a separate throttle and stick so it fits most any space/comfort preference, when used as one unit the cables coil into the base cleanly Stays in place pretty well without any extra adhesive Button layout is mostly pretty intuitive Cons: almost all parts are plastic, if not the whole thing so it feels a little fragile Rudder controls on the throttle are in a slightly weird spot Can’t be screwed into a base as far as I can tell

Buy this without a Victus
- May 24, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The few hours that my HP Victus has worked. This thing is truly awesome. I can’t imagine playing a game like ace combat without it.
