[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't a great product as we expected a lot from Kitchen Aid. The functionality is good, but sometimes the fan produces weird noise and then going normal automatically. Timer doesn't work! It don't turn off automatically after the time is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to replace our down draft gas stove, but was fearful of installing an exhaust to the outside. The contractor recommended this exhaust vent as a solution. Perfect solution.

I purchased this hood a little more than a month ago and it works well and looks really good in my kitchen as it should for the price of the item. When looking at photos online, I thought that there was a clock on the display on the hood, but I was mistaken as the numbers shown are for the timer. The only issue was the installation; hire someone to do it as I did it myself and it took awhile to figure it out, I had to pay a buddy to help me with it because it takes at least two people to hold it up. They don't give you an installation template and there is little space to see if you are lined up with the screws. I eventually got it installed, but you'll save yourself a headache if you hire someone else to do it.

I special ordered this range hood a month ago. I ordered this unit because all my other appliances are KitchenAid and because I need a ductless range hood and wanted a quality one. The product specs indicated it's convertible. It arrived last week. The installer came yesterday. When he opened the box, there was no conversion kit. There was only a pamphlet with a third party from whom to purchase the kit. When he went on the website, the kit was unavailable. This product is not advertised as "conversion kit sold separately". You expect to find everything you need to install it in the box - especially at this price point!!! I was extremely disappointed and angry.

This unit was bought bought and installed about 4 months ago. The first unit was installed and used maybe a week, vented to outside. The fan began making sounds and upon further inspection, we found pieces of the plastic fan blades inside. Our local supplier intervened and obtained a replacement vent - parts could not be obtained for the fan alone. After 2nd install, we found the vent and fan to work very well and have not had any further problems with the fan. The installation process was difficult and required some modifications. As for functionality, the fisrt and second speeds are adequate for venting our cooking area.

Our new hood is pretty and shiny and completes the kitchen. It has two push buttons for light and speed. It is a nice nightlight and the noise is low as I hate to not be able to hear others talking or listening to the news on TV while cooking and have the fan running. Glad I bought it and highly recommend it to others. *Email didn't ask me to review my stovetop but I love it too.

Installation wasn't great. A few of the small screws holes were stripped so I had use some larger diameter ones that were extra in the package. Not a big fan of the fact that you need a technician to replace the led lights. Being that they are led lights, they should last a good long time. One hopes. Also the controls for the fan,lights,and timer are a little quirky but once you get used to it it works fine. The alarm for the timer could be louder. Overall we're happy with it. It's good looking with clean lines. The fan works great and it's nice and quiet and the lights are excellent.

We bought this range hood as part of complete kitchen remodel. We wanted a professional looking range hood to match the professional cooktop we bought. We we drawn to the fact that the filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Great fan power! However, be prepared for some significant fan noise.

Buyers please be aware of this unit. I bought this hood vent 10 months ago and had nothing but problems. There has been three service tech and the unit still hasn't been repaired. The blower wheel just blow apart do to steam. Lol you can't even boil water under this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about two months ago and absolutely love it. It is so quite and powerful! So much better than the one it replaced! And, did I say how good it looks??!! It tops my 30" KitchenAid Gas Cook Top perfetly!!
