    Could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just needed a new one for my bedroom. Would have gave it more stars but this thing really has no bass to it what so ever. My old Techwood had more (Any one know a trick to get more out of it I'd like to know). But other then that so far it's doing good. The sound is good just needs more bass. Guess we shall see how long it lasts. I just returned a Pioneer I had in the living room cause ALL the Hdmi ports went out on it but 1. The remotes pretty big to. It's like half the width of my Galaxy Book2 Pro 360.

    Problems with batteries for remote

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 15, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using awhile the remote batteries went dead. I took the batteries out and they are R6-AA zync oxide batteries. They are slightly smaller than standard AA batteries. Normal AA batteries won't fit. They don't make the very old technology zync oxide batteries anymore. I contacted Yamaha and all they did was argue with me. The reception is also terrible. I've got an antenna on roof with a signal booster inside. The reception should be way better than I'm getting.

Affordable great sound easy to set up

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 7, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works very well. It was easy to set up and operate. The remote makes it very easy to sit back and operate from across the room. Plenty of power for my speakers and sound is excellent. Would definitely recommend this product. Affordable price.

    Very good so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cut my teeth on receivers in the 70's, and I still miss them. Not because they were better, I'm sure they weren't. But most of today's receivers have every function hidden under a bunch of menus. I like a bass "know" and a treble "knob" and a tuning "knob." This doesn't have those, but they ARE easy to get on the remote, so that's the next best thing. Also, while it doesn't have a separate out for a subwoofer, I hooked my sub as the "b" speakers and it all works as it should. Finally, I live in an area of dead FM, and while this still has trouble pulling in a lot of stations, it is considerably better than the old one I replaced.

    Nice Basic Receiver

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 10, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to hook up to my TV in game room and use my Bose speakers to get TV sound and use bluetooth for music. I did not want to spend a ton of money on a receiver for the game room and was able to get this at a good price on sale and open box like new. Liked the fact that it had blue tooth and manual controls on the front of the unit in case the remote was not handy. I did have to buy an adapter for $15 to get my optical TV output to translate into the RCA inputs on the back of the receiver. Overall, I am pleased with this receiver after two weeks of use and have been able to get good quality sound output that meets my needs.

    Great budget receiver!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 30, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This inexpensive receiver is terrific for music. The sound is remarkable given its price. It compares favorably to integrated amplifiers that are double or triple its price. It has a slightly bright sound signature, making it an excellent companion to Elac Debut 6.2 speakers and to B&W 685 S2--I have both, and they both sound excellent with this receiver. For this price, I don't think you could find a better receiver for music--perfect for a budget audiophile. The receiver does have a few drawbacks--no phono amp, spring clips for speakers, but at this price, I really can't complain. I bought several extra as gifts for family members!
