2pcs Dual Telephone Wall Plate white RJ11 4-Conductor 6P4C Face Plate

Flush-mount, twin-outlet modular jack and plate. Fits all standard modular phones. Permits connection of two phones or phone / answering machine combination. Installs in a standard electrical box to replace an existing flush-mount jack or add a new jack.

Instructions:

Disconnect one phone in the house by removing the handset from the hook before working with the exposed phone wire.

Remove the existing wall plate and jack.

Clean cut line cord from wall box.

Remove 1-1/2″ of insulation from colored wire leads.

Single-line Wiring:

To tie in answering machine or additional phone on same line, transfer wire leads by colour to top jack terminals.

Attach wire leads from the line cord by colour to the top jack terminals.

Dual Line Wiring:

To connect two separate phone lines, connect each incoming line cord to a separate terminal block. Attach wire leads by colour to terminal screws.

Install the jack and plate into the wall box with the screws provided.

Replace the handset on the disconnected phone.
