Short throw optics produce a large distortion free image even in confined spaces meaning that at just 63" (of distance from the screen) the P400 can produce a vivid 100" image (0.7 throw ratio). Many projectors especially single-panel LCD projectors need more than triple the distance to project a 100" image.
