The Blood & Steel Starter Set contains everything you need to start playing Achtung Panzer, with a pair of powerful German Panthers taking on a trio of British Shermans, one of which is the Firefly variant equipped with the fearsome 17pdr cannon. These five powerful machines all come in fantastically detailed plastic kits, packed with optional accessories, and can be personalized even further with the included storage packs, allowing you to create truly unique tank platoons full of character .
In addition to these highly detailed plastic tanks for the British and German forces, ruined plastic scenery and a large number of event and asset cards add fantastic depth to your games. Terrain is essential for close engagements between opposing armored vehicles on battlefields dominated by buildings, ruins, woods and other terrain that make up Achtung Panzer games!
In addition to a comprehensive description of the inner workings of Achtung Panzer!, the 108-page full-color rulebook explains how to recruit your crew, select your platoon of tanks, assault guns or armored cars, and introduces a system campaign that allows your crew to progress after each encounter and your tanks to be upgraded to be more effective in the next battle. Detailed tank profiles allow you to field extremely varied forces comprised of some of the most famous armored vehicles of World War II, while photocopiable feature cards allow you to put your existing collections into action immediately! Great Britain, Germany, the United States, and the Soviet Union are covered in this core rulebook. Other nations, theaters of operations and tanks will be introduced in future expansions.
