it?s simple. One coat, two styles. The baby parka toddler coat can be worn as a traditional winter coat or as a poncho. When worn as a poncho, the toddler can be buckled into their seat without extra bulk and not compromising the safety or function of the harness system in the car seat. The toddler coat has made traveling in the winter with a toddler a lot safer and easier!

Located along each sleeve of the coat, an open ended zipper runs the full length. When the zippers are closed the toddler coat is being worn as a coat and can used outdoors as a winter coat.

Once in the toddler seat, the unzipped sides allow for the coat to turn into a poncho. As a poncho the front of the coat is separated from the back. The back can be lifted and placed over the back of the seat?this removes any bulk that would lay behind the childs? back. The child is sitting directly in the seat and is then buckled from under the toddler coat avoiding any bulk.

The front centre zipper of the coat makes it easy to take off?.some two year olds are able to unzip, take it off and use it as a blanket ?while keeping their seat belt on the whole time.

Although this toddler coat was designed to keep the toddler safe in their car seat, we took one step further and added reflective tape to the exterior of the coat for visibility.

The baby parka toddler coat is constructed out of a triple layer of fabrics. The exterior layer is wind and water resistant. The interlining has thermal qualities - we use a product called Powderfill. The interior is an anti-pill fleece that will stand up to multiple washings.
