I bought this wireless router on black Friday morning, but set up this router today (12/10/10) when I got my new laptop with a wireless card from HP. The software installation was easy to follow. However, when I directly connected it to my comcast modem, it just could not detect the modem. I usually directly connect my computer to the italk BB telephone/network box (which is connected to the comcast modem), so that I can go online and make phone calls in the same time. So I connected the wireless router to the italk BB box. To my surprise, it worked well in this way. I hope it will continue to work trouble freely for at least one year.

picked this up for $44 my first wireless router.got home plugged my modem in then poped in the disc and Boom no more than 5 min had wireless internet on my laptop and ps3.also have a xbox 360 and another computer hooked up with a Ethernet cord and this thing works perfect.read some reviews before purchasing and almost all router i was looking at said don't buy .spohad to pick one asked my friend and he said to go with this one.when i got to best buy the guy who worked their also said to get this.so happy so far with this purchase just hope it last a long time. my final thoughts is to buy this a great buy and works great 5/5

I needed a router since I switched to Time Warner but I didn't have the money so on my Birthday when I got a $10 certificate and $40 from cards i took that opportunity to buy a new router. I use it mainly for internet and gaming online. It's good for you basic internet and online gaming. The wireless part of the router though is not as good as the wired part. If you have a two story house you can still be online and game online but the signal strength shrinks if you go onto the second story. It's tiding me over and it'll tide you over until a better router comes along. It's a great starter router for the price.
