First time buying Bitdefender... I used to buy Norton antivirus for many years, with Norton I was getting UNLIMITED daily traffic when I was using the VPN, and I was able to choose my VPN location, all free of charge... Now I bought this Bitdefender antivirus, they claim that you will get free VPN, but they will give you only 200 MB of free traffic, and you can not choose the location you want, I have to pay an extra 49.99 to upgrade to "premium" and get the stuff I was getting for free when I had Norton... The worst part is you can not return this product after buying.... So be aware and do your research before buying this product.

The product protects like its supposed to. My complaint is that I have no control concerning when it's maxing out read/write to my disk. I adjusted and reviewed all the settings but it is still maximizing drive usage. I like this anti-virus, but not sure why it behaves this way.

NEVER have i EVER had a security program that had to CONSTANTLY stay COMPLETELY DISABLED, JUST so i could use TRUSTED CLEAN apps without them being blocked firewalled and deleted!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING HOW MUCH I SPENT ON THIS "TOTAL" security system..... only reason I've kept it this long is in hopes that with it being THIS THOROUGH, MAAAYBE it'll catch it if i do actually get an actually infected fle.... BUT!!!! being blocked from modifying almost anything i put on the computer is getting on my last nerve!!!!!, most of my files are read only locked and i can't remove the attribute!!!! all immediately after installing THIS.....

I've been using bit defender for about 10 years now. I have use a lot of antivirus software over the years however when it comes to Bit Defender I couldn't be more pleased with a antivirus software. The only 2 complaints I could possible think of would be the fact that at times on certain PCs the current version of software does slow down the system. Also when it comes to installing programs on my PC always having to give the go ahead in Bit defender's application access before the the software is allowed to install can get a bit annoying but at the end of the day its comforting knowing that Bit Defender always has my back. I would give bit defender a 10/10.

I am self-employed and work from home and have been using Bitdefender for the past five years. In the past I have used Norton, Kaspersky, AVG, Avast and McAfee and had issues with each. Bitdefender's price for the total protection is very reasonable and their renewal process is easy with little or no interruption in service. I have also had the opportunity to make use of their customer service for the set-up, and found them informative, helpful and willing to help me resolve my issue, to my understanding. I do not have the time and patience to deal with malware, viruses etc. and Bitdefender allows me to do my work without any worries. I TRUST Bitdefender.

Destroy my computer.Now I have my computer problem to fix it.I went back to best buy they tell me I need the pay to fix my computer. Now I need to find somebody to fix my computer. And it cost me money big mistake. I make by this garbage.

Have used this "Total Security" package for approximately a month now. First criticism, is that compared to previous AV software that I've used over the past decade(+), I don't consider it a "total" package. Requires a 3rd party app, for Ad Blocking. Requires a separate subscription for VPN Previous AV "Total security" packages, from 2 different companies over the years provided the AD block & a VPN beyond a 7 day free trial. Unfortunately the 2 previous companies are no longer available on the market OR have downgraded their capabilities, IF you are able to purchase their versions. So this is basically a mid level package, and what I considered the better of the 2 options available to buy at the time. Only recommend if on sale.

Purchased this software yesterday at Best Buy. Went home to install it and after insulation it showed up on my computer not as stated in the box as Total Security but as Antivirus Plus. Got contact with Best Buy and was referred back to the manufacture " Bit Defender. Spent 18 hours waiting for a response. Still waiting as they said it my take 2-3 days to resolve this issue. I would have expected better response from Best Buy and Bit Defender on this product! Total waste my time and money! Be careful what you buy at Best Buy.....

I did my research on total internet security options prior to purchase. I have used Kaspersky for years and been quite happy...no problems, ever. I don't really buy the "russian" risk story, but, when looking for a better option than McAfee for a new desktop, I noted that bitdefender was a little higher rated, based on tests. So, I jumped om a deal I saw. It's been about 6 months or so and have had no problems. BD is a little less intrusive in identifying potential problems, but I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I had high expectations based on my research. So far they've been met.

This is a nice antivirus package, way better than the other guys that are only interested in getting your credit card information...lol I like the fact that I can install it in different devices, Ihave it installed on my cell phones, my Mac, I only have a problem installing in my ipad but it is an older model. No complaints so far, I'm happy with it, I have already recommended this software to a couple of friends and I will continue to do to whoever ask me about any antivirus... kudos to the company
