Vinyl LP pressing. Mid-century Modern music, rich in dynamics and orchestral textures. The Wayne Peterson piece was commissioned and received it's performance and recording debut by Dorati's Minneapolis band. Bloch recorded April 17, 1960; Peterson recorded April 21, 1959. Both recordings were made in Northrop Auditorium, Minneapolis MN, using three Schoeps M201 microphones.
