The optical lenses are eye-friendly and won't harm your vision. The optical glass lenses feature a multi-layer blue coating, providing excellent light transmission, high clarity, and minimal chromatic aberration, restoring true colors for your baby.

The BAK4 prism telescope features prisms inside the tube. Prisms correct inverted images. The prism's function is to refract light through a series of refractions, forming an upright image as it exits the eyepiece. The prism material is either borosilicate glass (BK-7 or BK-9) or crown barium glass (BaK-4). BaK-4 has a finer texture, resulting in a brighter image with clearer peripheral details. However, it is also more expensive.
