This cooktop came with my new condo in Honolulu. It works great and I have no issues with its functionality. However, after using it 9 months now I can not get the burner surfaces clean (this was an issue after just 2 weeks). I've read the owners manual and called Bosh but they do not help with this issue. I did see another review on the Sears website for this exact cooktop that stated they to could not get the burner surface clean so I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm not new to Bosh glass cooktops. I have currently have one in my California house that I've used for 11+years. This cooktop has no cleaning issues and looks almost as good as the day it was installed. Unfortunately the cooktop in Honolulu looks terrible and worn out. This is a high end condo that I rent and so I need to replace the cooktop. Bottom line, don't buy this model. Oh, I should mention the Bosh warranty does not cover the cosmetic appearance so no warranty for this issue. See attached photos of this issue. Keep in mind I spent about 30 minutes cleaning the surface before I took this photo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been sold for years on the Bosch dishwasher being the best choice due to its silent operation and great cleaning of my dishes. I have installed Bosch dishwashers in 5 homes now and have never been disappointed. I am now trying some of their other appliances and recently purchased a 30" electric cooktop. The installation was simple, the product is made with quality and it looks great. I am hopefull that it will work for years to come just as my dishwashers have.

Today was the first time using it. The Good I heated up quickly, the dials seem very responsive to the temperature changes. The Bad I was extremely careful setting my frypan on the large element. Lifting carefully to remove and there is already some marks on the element that appear to be the finish lifted. See attached photo. Keep in mind it is reflecting the backsplash and vent fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the basic features and knobs. Don't need a smart cooktop and didnt like thouch controll model, its too sensitive. Only concern is the glass top's durability. Seems to mark up easily. I'll try a cleaner. Nice unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knobs are cumbersome where they are and don't lift up and off for cleaning. The knobs get in the way of my pan handles. Burners don't get hot quickly like my old metal burners did. U can only use certain types of cleaning products on the glass top no windex. The glass doesn't clean up easily and it states u have to wait unit the unit cools for cleanup. I give the installers in my 77480 area a 0 for installation. They didn't know which end was up with anything. If my husband wasn't off that day and helped them I still would not have a cooktop! Dumber than a box of rocks and they told us they were going to dump my old cook top in the first dumpster they came to. Stick with the old fashioned cooktop cause this one is all hype.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive only had about a month so that is important check back in a year But, it heats up quicker and cools downs quicker. It is easy to clean though knobs do not come off. I assume over time the burners will get some spots that wont come off. My Jenn Air of 20 years had spots. I dont use the dual burner so no comment. I assumed I would have to adjust to the temp of a 5 on this new one vs. my precious one. This will boil quickly and i turn to lower number. I found my stew on a 1 would boil a bit not not really a boil. I like that . so I would buy again
