Love it! Good tasting espresso, easy to use machine, easy to use steamer. Easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge coffee person. I'm not a coffee snob but I do enjoy good coffee. I tend towards (oat)milk drinks so I haven't tried the espresso by itself since I don't have much to compare it to anyways. I am extremely happy with this machine. It's fast, it's easy, it comes with everything you need to get started right away. There are some things you can do that will have a huge impact on the quality of your drink. But you can start with what you have and work your way up based on your comfort level. It heats up faster than I can prepare the puck. The switch between steaming and brewing is quick and feels seem less. The speed and not waiting 30 minutes to heat up has me spoiled. It comes with a plastic tamper and a nice milk frothing pitcher. It has dual walled filter baskets to artificially create the pressure needed if you are using pre ground coffee or a grinder that doesn't grind fine enough. As long as the coffee is fresh you should get espresso that will make a good latte. It also comes with just the standard filter baskets which is ideal for when you are grinding your own coffee beans. You get more control over the end result. Since buying this I have stopped going to coffee shops and I genuinely look forward to making my latte. I'm offering to make anyone and everyone a latte because I enjoy it so much. I've even been using the steam wand for hot chocolate. The only danger in this purchase is remembering that moderation is key. Too much caffeine is bad. I once drank 5 double shot lattes in one day because I was having fun. Don't be me. Maybe invite people over for a coffee party.

For the price point, the Breville Bambino does everything that is needed from an espresso machine. If you are looking into getting into the espresso world and dont want to commit to a really expensive machine, this is your go to beginner espresso machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first ever espresso machine. Great purchase! I paired it with the Breville Smart grinder Pro and its equivalent to having a $700 espresso machine. It does exactly what you need it to do: good coffee. I suggest you spend a good time patiently dialing your grind to find the perfect setting for its portafilter. I do grind size 9 at 16 seconds. It yield about 17g of ground.

Outstanding Quality. The build and design function are 1st class. Well done Breville, we impressed. We have now switched from using Nespresso, to making our own brew again. Apart from the immense cost savings over Nespresso (between my wife and I, we drink 10 cups a day), the convenience and speed is excellent. And quality of our brews is fabulous. We have a Baratza grinder, scale, and I bought a 54mm open bottom Portafilter, but the pressurized Breville Portafilter, does a great job. And honestly, I prefer it! My only suggestions would be the top surface of the tray should be coated, or made from durable hard rubber or a thermal plastic. We cover the cup area of ours with a black rubber mesh (used for non-slip drawer lining). It protects it against scratches and prevents the small vibration of the Bambino from causing the cup to move. These are really minor issues and easily addressed by users. So bottom line - great machine.

I have bought one for me and I have bought one for my sister and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever purchased. I have been a resort for over five years and I’ve worked at numerous coffee shops, and I can save this with confidence that the espresso machine makes espresso that taste 90% like $5000+ machines we have at coffee shops I recommend this espresso machine to anyone that wants to start off with making coffee or anyone that is already experienced with it. it’s a perfect size for a kitchen. It’s not too big and it’s not too small and it genuinely has been a very great purchase for me. I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a espresso machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It make lukewarm espresso. I tried all the tricks found on the Internet from others with the same problem. Nothing works: preheating the portafilter, run a blank shot, even 5-6 consecutive shots, etc. With both non-contact and contact thermometer, the water temperature remains below 155F. I don't expect scolding hot, but who would buy $300 espresso machine that can make such lukewarm coffee? It should be at least 165, even considering the loss of heat when water drops from the head to the cup. Breville homepage has an instruction supposedly for temperature, but this has only about volume programming. Very disappointed and returning it.
