    Bought as a gift for my mom. Replacing another medium priced electric kettle which failed after 8-9 years. This time I wanted to go with a well known name for quality; breville. Upon opening box everything was there and no setup required. Plug and play. Heats up quickly and no issues so far. All parts are of premium quality.

    With the exception of the flip up lid that completely broke off after 2 years, a great kettle. As it still clips on securely, we still use it manually which can be a challenge after a boil. Has to cool down first then gently lifted off. We have several Breville small appliances and other than this and a leaking blender jug (which we returned with no hassle) we're very happy with their products.
