[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product because my printer showed that it needed to be replaced soon. It also prompted me to replace the belt. I replaced both, yet the printer continues to prompt me to replace them. This was the second time in 4 years that I replaced the drum I have always used genuine Brother parts, but I'm concerned as to why it still prompts me to replace them. It still seems to work well, but the messages are disconcerting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brother original equipment Drum Units work as they should-like new units. They're easy to remove and install. The only problem was ordering them online due to some confusion as to whether or not you are ordering one drum unit or the whole set. You are buying all four drum units, not one black unit as the product display shows.

Changing the drums was fairly easy. The packaging is clearly marked. My issue is there is an area in the middle of pages that is lighter than the rest of the pages. Some words are difficult to make out. The toner is fairly new. I don’t want to buy a new printer after investing in new drum units.

I didn’t get a notification that it’s not available. It just said returned, cancelled and will be refunded. I did not cancel this order.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Considering the toner cartridges only last about 5000 pages and cost $79 each and the drum only lasts 15000 pages this is an expensive printer to operate for a small business.

I bought these exact drums last year. They did not even last 5000 copies. Plus the printer continued to say replace the drum even when they were brand new.

Directions were straightforward and included in the replacements. I only had difficulty understanding how to reset the drum spec. The video online helped.

Works well. Had got generic set first, tried one, terrible , set sent back ad ordered Brother 4 pack DR221CL.
