TERRIBLE MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY
- December 10, 2025this is a freaking joke. i’d put zero stars if i could. I go to print a completely BW document but my printer is telling me i’m out of CYAN ink so i can’t print a BLACK AND WHITE document. okay… i got to open the cyan in cartridge from the compartment and the ink explodes everywhere! 1st of all, clearly, there was plenty of ink in there to print something. 2nd, are you kidding me? i’m covered in blue ink now. then i clean the cartridge and put it back back and now it’s saying yellow is out of ink too! i’m so mad.

Brother 3-Pack
- June 5, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you get the dreaded low ink notice at the worst time, the LC101CL 3 pack is very convenient and easy to install! Buying the 3 pack is much cheaper than buying each one individually! It's the "BestBuy" for the money! (pun intended)

Does not last long
- October 26, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother cartridges provide good black/white and color printout. But they don't last long; either they dry up or mysteriously disappear. I don't need to print a lot; a few pages a month. But after 4-6 months, the ink level drops precipitously and I am required to change the color cartridges too even though all I do is print in black and white. Online review says this happens to prevent "air" getting into the printer head and damaging it. Disappointed that I have to change color cartridges too even though I print in black and white.

Blink and your ink dries out
- April 23, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Brother printer, which I enjoy in general along with the easy maintenance and management. The ink however, in a word, "sucks." The packaging promises up to 300 pages. I probably get about 50. If you look at it, it dries out. If you think about it, it dries out. I stick with the brand to stay consistent with the printer maker, which is so much better than any HP printer I've owned. But the ink issue is a pain.

Lc101 or lc103 work well
- March 4, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy the high yield as you will get twice the printing for just a few more dollars but store only had the lc101. But sometimes you don't have the extra money and need ink to print an important document right away.. reason #2 why I didn't shop around or wait for a mail order! Been using brother printers that take the lc101 or lc103 series for years with great success. Easy to change and good color.

So much wasted ink
- August 22, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is more of a review on the printer than the ink I suppose. I use a great deal of black ink and not much color ink, but it's necessary to buy and install all ink cartridges when any of the colors runs out. I would love to be able to continue to print with just black. The hacks that I saw online with covering or coloring bits of the cartridge unfortunately don't work with the model I have.

The Correct Thing
- March 5, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since buying my Brother printer in the fall, I have attempted, at least twice, to buy ink that wasn't actual Brother ink, but refills, or off brand. Every single time, I've had to return the cartridges. Don't waste time and money as did I - use the correct Brother ink for your printer. It may cost a tiny bit more (but not always), but at least you will know exactly what you are getting.

Brother ink cartridges
- December 21, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Brother brand printer ran out if ink so these three color packs were needed to restore printing capabilities. They also sell an XL version of this three pack with more ink but i would stick with regular size these ink cartridges tend to dry out quickly so no use spending money on the larger size when they become useless in a matter of months once exposed to air. Later party peoples.

A Good Value
- December 29, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Brother printer when my family went wireless and traded three cheap printers for a nice model Brother printer. One attractive feature was that the ink was economical, and we have found that to be true. We have had the printer for several years and buy the XL ink cartridges since the printer warns us to buy new ink and we have never been caught without ink. It goes a long way.
