High yield, more piece of mind.
- July 9, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never tried refilling my own cartridges so, if that's you as well, these are a necessary set for your Brother printer. The XL is worth the extra money over the normal yield pack, as the printer ( in my case J450DW) can go through ink pretty quickly even when not much use is happening. Having the XL high yield will give you some piece of mind. One concern, I think having to do more with Brother printers (possibly just the model above) is the inability to print when 1 cartridge is low, this will happen less with the higher yield cartridge, and you can make a few simple tweaks when you're running low on a cartridge to extend it's use.

really let down
- May 4, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SO DISAPPOINTED!!! when the machine told me it needed new cartridges around May 2019, I had the first experience of completely corrupted personal printer output on a brother unit - colors were inverted, colors weren't registering, really ghostlike overlaps & weird spaces. Sooooooo disappointed in Brother, for the first time (Im a loyal, longstanding customer - as an undergraduate, i had a Brother electric typewriter/word processor back in 1984! it was the bomb!!!). I constantly check that i have the latest versions of Brother drivers and CUPS, etc. Not sure what the deal is with this issue, it's not resolved.

Mostly good
- August 27, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous phone was a 1st generation Moto G, so this one is much bigger of course and seems slimmer also. The reception is much better, with both cellular and wi-fi. The camera is better also, but the old one was pretty bad so that may not be saying much. The auto brightness on the screen is very sensitive to your hand shading the sensor so you have to hold the phone a bit awkwardly some times. Also the touch sensitivity on the screen is high, so I end up opening apps and doing things I don't intend to. I haven't gotten it wet or dropped it yet, so no comparison to the old one that was very good in that regard, which was the main reason I stayed with the Moto G family.

Work fine no problems
- September 8, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these in a MFC j6920 dw printer, a few years now and not much to say. We mostly need basic documents, occasionally with images which are serviceable. We bought this device for its wide range of functions and uses, not for pretty output. Now and then we print in high quality mode and it looks fine. Colors look good, clear, etc. Have not used for photos specifically, but I will say that in many years I have found that the paper actually mattered more than anything else like ink. I would not gamble on other brands or refills, but that's just a personal decision. Anyway can't compare to those products. The Brother branded ink works fine for me, no clogs, no issues.

More ink for your money
- July 20, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a Brother printer when my HP one started acting up. It had more of what I was looking for and was a little smaller. I like thsee XL ink cartridges because I'm able to print so much more before running out of ink and having to replace the cartridges. The brother ink is also less expensive than the HP ink. The only difference between the two printers I've had, Brother has 3 color cartrides, HP had 1 tri-color cartridge, is the colors from the Brother printer don't look quite as bright, or as close to the colors as the original document or picture. Could be the printer. But this product is great!

or where does the ink go? its a mystery
- November 5, 2021my daughter needed to print off some school work. I was reluctant to purchase ink but she needed the printer to work so i did. I have always found with my model MFC-J650DW that the ink just goes away or do they expire and the printer knows and says they are empty? I installed a Cyan 103XL. printed 1 test page and the ink indicator for cyan level dropped. another thing i do not like is the pop up for low ink. Its almost like malware, pops up whenever and multi[ple times. im sure there is a setting to turn off this feature but havent found it yet so when the ink goes low i just unplug the printer

Ink only 2/3 usable. Quits printing at 1/3 full!
- October 20, 2024My Brother printer MFC-J470DW quits printing and says these color cartrigdes are empty when they are still half full as ink is visible through the window on the inkjet side of the cartridge. What a complete ripoff by Brother! I wish we could do a class action lawsuit against these printer companies, but they know they can steal from the little guy.

Great price on ink for a terrible printer
- February 20, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price for the high yield package of color ink for Brother Printers is a fair price. The problem is that I used to own a Lexmark and it is a much better value. When the black on the Lexmark would run out it would use the rest of the colors to create black ink. The Brother printer, however, will not. Once the black runs out you need to buy a black cartridge to print black. You are constantly either buying one package or another, even when one set has plenty of ink left. If you print a lot of black ink you will simply sit on the mostly full colors and keep buying black. If you do use a lot of colors then this is a good buy providing you change your lettering to, oh, perhaps a nice shade of red.

Best Ink I've ever purchased!
- May 15, 2026[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Brother ink that Best Buy carries works greater than any other manufacturer s. I have had many different printers over the years , but nothing compares with Brothers from Best Buy

Excellent Brother 3-Pack of Printer Ink Cartridges
- July 19, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a few years now, I have relied-upon these Brother High-Yield Color Print Cartridges (as well as the Brother XL Black Ink companion), and now that I can only find them in this mult-pack, it simplifies the ordering process. Significantly, all 3 colors seem to run-out nearly simultaneously. I have always appreciated the ease of installation, and the clarity of print copy is excellent. I wish that there were not quite so many non-recyclable plastic components in the installation parts and bags. I ignore the “LOW INK” Warnings I receive and still can print many pages.
