Tracks like "Rescue Me" and "Talk to Me" deliver powerful guitar work and explosive choruses, tapping into themes of personal struggle and emotional desperation. "Rescue Me, " in particular, was inspired by lead singer Josh Todd's reading of A Child Called 'It' by Dave Pelzer, and addresses the trauma of child abuse and the hope of redemption.
