My main joy with this range is the 2 ovens. Top oven is conventional gas, bake and broil. The bottom oven is a convection oven. There are 6 burners and the center grate can be swapped out for a griddle. The grates cover the entire range cooking area, a definite improvement over the older range that used individual grates for each burner, which makes the cooking area much more stable. The appearance is just beautiful and relatively easy to keep clean. The ovens are self cleaning using steam. Another great thing about these ovens is that they heat up very quickly, <5 minutes. The range is wi-fi enabled, my son took care of setting that up and about all I know.

We renovated a 120 year old home. It was important for us to have gorgeous appliances, that had a classic look. The matte white and brushed bronze appliances are what I chose first, and designed my whole kitchen around them. The WiFi enabled oven is a dream - as a mom of 3 boys, we’re always on the go. The fact that I can preheat the oven on the way home from practice and games is awesome. The look is classic, with modern function. The kitchen is my favorite room in the home!

The clean style, easy to use features and such quality of this range is so impressive. The top cooking area is spaced perfectly, the “power boil” is my favourite burner as it takes no time to boil water. The oven is spot on as both have separate temperature control on the panel( last stove didn’t have that) It  heats quickly and cooks evenly throughout.  I highly recommend this range, we love it. 

Renovated my kitchen and was looking for new appliances. While browsing the internet I came across the Cafe' line from GE. Not only beautiful the appliances have great features like WIFI, sensory detection, Bluetooth, Chef Connect, pairs with microwave to automatically turn on vent fam, digital control settings with lots of options. The refrigerator's large capacity holds more food than my side by side. The water dispenser also has hot water along with separate temperature controlled drawers. I purchased the range, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Love, love, love my new appliances.

I have never spent this kind of money for an appliance. I read everything I could about this product before we purchased. My expectations are high but attainable. 1) The ceramic top is impossible to clean (and I have had ceramic tops before) - even with your recommended product you sent with the range. 2) The ovens take a long time to come to temperature. 3) The steam clean is a waste of time. 4) It seems like the range top burners and both ovens need to be used several times before they fully come to temperature. And I am not sure if the ovens actually get to designated temperature. I am getting an oven thermometer to check because Convection Bake took 50% more time. 5) The burner temps are not consistent all the way around when it should be evenly distributed. 6) The large "do it all" oven should be on top. Perhaps it is trying to be "too much." I have only been using for a week, but I should not have so many issues/questions. I hope that it gets better and easier to use AND clean.

This oven range/ microwave combination is a life changer and game changer. My bakes and meals are better and more satisfying than ever before and give me confidence to create. This is a life changer that gives me joy!

This stove is my main stove here in Florida but I have another one in my outdoor kitchen which I use a lot due to the heat in the summertime. I have used this stove more recently since it's cooled off, and I will review it for the recent use. The center griddle works great! It is already seasoned and I grill cheese sandwiches on it- but I save the messy cooking for my flattop which is outside. It's a heavy griddle and might work for pancakes but I haven't tried it yet. The knobs are good quality, but a bit stiff to turn past high, they get really low and the variety of burners is great for high heat and low simmer. The oven part is nice to have the 2 compartments as I was proofing bread in the top one and heating the lower one to baking temp for the bread. I've never had a double oven before, and because the size is smaller on top it heats up quickly. The only disadvantage of this oven is it is very low to the ground for the bottom oven and if you have back issues and can't bend down, it might be hard to use the bottom one. But it's easy to see inside with the nice light. There is no storage under the oven either, but for me; I remodeled my kitchen and doubled the size so that wasn't an issue. I've gotten lots and lots of positive comments about my GE Cafe white appliances and how beautiful they all are. I got the whole package (microwave, refrigerator, double dishwasher, double oven) and I couldn't be happier! Each one is a wonderful appliance.

Now 1 year old. We were just going to change our countertop in the cottage, then I saw this gorgeous CAFE white matte range with the bronze hardware which led to... an entire remodel. And change of plans. I wanted to showcase the white CAFE range & range hood (photos do not do it justice) so I went with painted cabinets (toned down vintage green to match cottage vibe - SW Comfort Gray) EXISTING STAINLESS APPLIANCES!! Would they go with the 1 year old stainless refrigerator, drawer microwave & DW? As much as I'd love to replace all my appliances with new CAFE, I decided it worked fine since this range is such a showpiece. It helps that the other stainless appliances are on different walls. HARDWARE: I found a Delta Champagne Bronze faucet that worked well. My knobs & pulls are Amerock Blackrock style in Golden Champagne. For fun, I also found some cookware that matches. Circulon Premier Professional in "brown" OVENS: Cooking has been very versatile. We use the small top oven 80% of the time. But this is a family place, so the bottom oven is necessary when several people are cooking. However, make SURE you're aware of how low the 2nd oven is. I'd see it in person and try it out before you buy the double ovens. The top oven seems to cook a little hotter than the larger bottom oven. I have to adjust time or temp to get the same results. COOKTOP: Love the grill in the middle. This is the largest grill for ranges that we looked at. I think it can be so large because there are 6 burners rather than just a small center burner. I thought it would be just an occasional use, but we use it alot on weekends or when making family breakfasts. The burners allow for a lot of finesse. Why a 4 star? Within a couple months, we had to have 2 fans replaced because they were so noisy. I checked it out & it was a known problem so make sure you do your research. Seems fine now after several months. Grills are heavy, which is good. Grills are heavy, which makes taking them off to clean and not scratch the surface a bit of a chore. This is in a more rural are so we discovered how important it was to be able to get fixed. And it CAN get fixed. This range is VERY heavy. There is no easy slide out & slide back. So make sure your backsplash is complete before you install. Gas install location is VERY precise. Ours was off by 1/2 in and would not slide back to the wall. (Gas line installer tried to convince me the stove wasn't meant to slide all the way back to the wall.....) We have propane and were more than a little concerned when we asked the guys who brought it off the truck and were going to install, about the LP conversion. They said - "LP? What is that?" GULP!! But that is a story about the retail installer, not the range. One advantage of having a knowledgeable repair person replacing the fan - he was able to adjust the flame for each burner & oven which made a difference. Would I get this range again? In a heart beat.
