I absolutely LOVE my new oven! I have had induction before and knew I wanted it again. In my new house there was a propane gas conversion range that was incredibly inefficient and entirely unwieldy. I love to bake and cook and needed an upgrade desperately. Much of the time it’s just me and my hubby- thus the option of dual ovens was ideal. The upper is so quick to heat and perfect for tray bakes and having a second oven will allow me to bake various things at different temps at the same time! I wanted something with knobs for easy control and on the front vs top- this fit the bill. The stovetop is quick to get and easy to clean. LOVE IT!

After extensively researching gas ranges, I chose the GE Cafe 30” Slide-In Dual Fuel Double Oven with Convection Range. The name, alone, speaks of some of the features, but after delivery and installation, I have an even better appreciation of its quality. I am providing this review shortly after delivery and it is focused mostly on why I selected it versus usage at this point in time. That review will come later. The grates are very heavy and provide a continuous cooking surface over the six gas burners. Yes..six burners on a 30” range! Included is a very heavy cast iron griddle that can be used over the two middle burners. The btu output is very adequate; each burner is very quick to ignite and the knobs work very smoothly. I customized my range by purchasing the brushed black hardware which was more complimentary to my decor. The control panel and knobs are front facing. I love this feature as it will eliminate or minimize grease and/or food splatter cleanup. When leaning over the stove to clean it after installation, I did push a knob in far enough to illuminate the control panel. Although the knob did not turn enough to ignite a burner, one should be aware of this. There is one roller rack and two standard racks which are interchangeable between the two ovens. The ovens and the racks are self cleaning. Also included is a temperature probe for the bottom oven. During installation my range slid back within one inch of the wall. An adaptive spacer was screwed to the back of the stove giving the appearance of being part of the rear vent. What a nice finishing touch. I have not set up the mobile app yet, but I can speak to that at a later date. I never thought I would be this excited about an appliance! Thank you GE for a stylish, quality range.

I used my oven to broil some steaks and of course it prompts To clean my oven Afterwards. The results were that I cannot get the glass clean now and the oven door looks a mess. I’ve never had an oven door look like this and it’s very ugly and makes my heart sink every time I open the door to the oven. For the price point I am very unhappy. The cleaning was done using the ovens cleaning cycle.

I absolutely love my new dual fuel; dual oven range. The sleek design, functionality, options, wifi remote access is amazing. The quality of the oven is superior compared to others on the market. Love that it came with a little bottle of graphite to protect the rack rails and they slide effortlessly. The grates are Heavy Duty & the griddle fits nicely by replacing the middle grate. I love that the stove top has rubber bumpers to protect the surface when moving the grates & griddle for cleaning. Having the ability to cook at different temperatures at the same time is priceless. I now have two Café items & couldn't be more thrilled! Love, love, LOVE my new range & Avantium built in Microwave oven!

Looking for exactly this! Needed a new range as my old GE needed replacing. Loved the Cafe I’d seen in high-end appliance shops and I’d already been using a single burner induction unit to cook with. This range surpassed all of my hopes and expectations. Though my single burner induction hums and makes noises, this does not. It is extremely sturdy and well-built with convection AND AIR FRY! I’d never owned an air fryer and I find I’m loving this function to make tender, juicy ribs in just an hour as well as bacon in minutes and so on. I routinely bake muffins for my father and these ovens are amazing and make me feel like a super cook! I’ve made pies and the crusts are perfectly browned. I baked a whole chicken and it was moist, juicy and perfectly baked too. I’ve only had this for just over a week and I’ve loved everything about it. I’m amazed at how well it does everything and I highly recommend this double-oven range to anyone who loves to cook like I do.

Model CHS950P2M8S1 The range appears to work well, except that the "No Preheat Air Fry" feature does not appear to be functional. I tried a few foods with air fry instructions, and found that cooking them took about 3 times longer than their recipe called for. Seems like the oven is just baking, and not air frying. I did a test starting with a room temp oven, I put a temperature probe on a tray in center of lower oven, directly in front of rear wall fan, no food, and started the "No Preheat Air Fry" at 450F. It took just under 15 minutes to reach 450F. Cleary the "No Preheat Air Fry" is either a poor design, false advertising, or there is a defect with this particular oven. I'd like to get a manufacturer reply and remedy to this.

We had a 25 year old gas stove removed, replaced with this new Cafe Induction stove. Gas contaminants were making my asthma worse with coughing every time I was in the kitchen/dining area for more than 30 minutes. We never had induction before, but it was very easy to learn how to use and had much to love about it. Cooking ware heats up amazingly fast and temperature control with induction is unbelievable. Ambient heat is very low, should be a bonus in the summer. Pots and pans clean up after use very easily. The stove itself is beautiful with easily accessible controls. A truly great upgrade - and no coughing anymore.

Happy to buy one, then when tried the oven, heard a paf. Kinda like a small fire craker. The oven did not work properly. The rear fan would not spin, it was free to spin, not obstructed ,as tried spinnng it with a wooden squewer,it spun freely. Oven said temp was reached at 375, but was only 230 F . So they came and picked it up. Could not get another one for like 2 to 3 months. So as much as we wanted it, we could not wait another 2 months or more. Also was not too impressed that it would break within a couple years. I tried to simmer one evening, needed to connect to wifi. Lol thats too much for me. I love to cook , but not mix techonlogy and apps to my cooking. We just caved and bought another brsnd thst was rezdily available and are actually very happy with the one we chose. (No wifi needed lol)

My final appliance piece came. This finishes off the set of refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and now the stove. Love all of the features and the double oven has been a dream of mine. Used it immediately for a family gathering the next day. My daughter loves all of the appliances and how it looks in the kitchen that she ordered all the same pieces for her house. Top quality and looks amazing! Also bought the coffee maker and toaster.

We love this range, it's beautiful and effective. The cooking surface area is huge for a 30 inch range allowing you to utilize all 6 burners wuth true edge to edge. The griddle is very solid and the system comes with everything you need to convert to propane. We looked at alot of professional style ranges but you just can't beat this overnight space. Most professional style range ovens had the same amount of space as the lover oven on this range. The wifi integration seemed like a techy gimic at first but it is so useful. You can change temperatures, start preheat and get notices when times are finished. It frees you to do other things while baking. Excellent Product
