I bough one and dont like it. have had more probelms with it than a printer I had for 10 years. INK cost alot to replace. takes a long time to print . sometimes have to restart it and even then it print right away . I have just spent 15 minutes trying to print 1 page. going to get rid of it and go back to brother printer.

Got this unit at no cost with points. A nightmare to set up, after more than 2 hours, still not working. When frustration level subsides, will take another crack at it. Whatever happened to 'Plug & Play"? Default setting is 'COPY" and unable to change to 'PRINT". Went online and saw dozens of similar complaints. Instructions online not able to correct the problem. ALL functions/settings are menu driven - and there are a ton of hoops to negotiate AND commands are NOT clear.. My previous Canon printer had separate function buttons for Print, Copy, Fax. That unit worked perfectly for years - which is why I got another Canon. BTW, no printer currently available will use the cartridge from old unit - so stuck with a couple hundred bucks worth of 'obsolete" ink. And unit is ALL plastic, feels incredibly cheap and flimsy You are even told HOW to pick it up, doing otherwise may break it! Will be my LAST Canon purchase ever!
