The Clash of Steel: M4A3E2 Jumbo Tank Platoon set includes three highly detailed plastic models of the formidable M4A3E2 "Jumbo" assault tanks. Developed in early 1944 to breach the German Siegfried Line, the M4A3E2 featured enhanced armor and a larger turret with a massive 7-inch (180mm) thick mantlet, earning it the nickname "Jumbo." In gameplay, these tanks are ideal for leading assaults, absorbing enemy fire with their reinforced armor. Please note, the models are supplied unpainted and require assembly; tools such as clippers, glue, and paint are not included.

The T-34 series of tanks were widely recognized as an excellent design that had a profound effect on not only the course of World War II, but subsequent tank development for a long time. Over time the original specifications were refined to not only make the tank easier to produce, but also keep up with the need for increased firepower as enemy tank designs caught up and eventually surpassed the T-34.

The T-34/85 built upon an already successful design with increased armor protection. A larger turret was also added to accommodate a third crew member (previously in the hull) and increase the size of the gun from 76mm to the more powerful ZiS-S-53 85mm. These improvements gave Soviet forces a tank that was once again more armored, mobile, and destructive than its contemporaries.
