I'm Basically a Gardener Now...
- December 16, 2019Not actually a gardener in any way whatsoever but this thing is pretty cool so far. Very easy to assemble and set up; would highly recommend putting it as far away from your bedrooms as possible as it's very bright. Ours is down the hall from our bedroom and we have to shut our door completely if we don't want any light seeping thru. We got it a couple weeks ago so the first of the seeds we planted haven't finished yet. The brightness, along with the fact that we haven't eaten anything that came from it yet, are why I couldn't give it 5 stars. May come back and update once we've eaten some lettuce/herbs.

Perfect for my desk
- August 14, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a welcome addition to my work-from-home set up. I am currently growing the moss rose pods (purchased separately from Click&Grow.) They have been blooming for a couple weeks and are still going strong. Great for an area that does not get direct sunlight.

Click and Grow Smart Garden 9
- December 28, 2020I received my garden before Christmas and the seeds are already up. It was easy to put together and is easily maintained( watering spout). the only complaint is that it is hard to get seed pods shipped to Canada from the supplier-only through Amazon. Definitely look forward to trying more seeds.

Click And Grow 9 Smart Garden
- January 18, 2021This product is great. I started the planting just after Christmas and the plants are coming along nicely. It is really easy to set up and get going. The light is very bright so you don't want it anywhere near your bedroom. I can't wait to try some other herbs.

Novelty Wears Off and It's just Too Expensive
- March 20, 2023I thought it would be nice to have some fresh herbs that I could use in my cooking, but the reality of the Click & Grow is that you will be waiting a long time for a very small amount of usable herbs. Of the nine pods that I started with in the original box, only six grew. Two of them were lettuce, three of them were tomatoes, and only one basil actually grew. If you consider the fact that each pod costs roughly $3, I waited over a month to add $6 worth of lettuce to a BLT (that’s all there was enough for), a single tomato (that never really made it to ripe), and enough basil to make a pretty decent amount of bruschetta. I tried transferring the tomatoes to a larger vessel, but they died shortly after. I’ll take the blame for that though. Probably needed to purchase some special GMO soil from the company instead of basic vegetable soil from Home Depot. On my second growing attempt, I tried some herbs that I purchased from the click & grow website. This time only five of the nine grew. Almost all of the pods that I tried this second time developed a significant amount of mold. And this is not a water issue either; I use RO water only. It has been nine weeks since I started this second growing cycle and I am confident that the four that haven’t sprouted never will – especially the one that is almost completely covered in mold. All-in-all, this thing is just too expensive to be viable. At $3 a pod, anyone would be much better off just buying fresh herbs from the grocery store. For the same price you get nearly double the amount and you don’t have to wait 5-7 weeks for them to maybe grow. But I still have to give it a few stars because the construction and design of the product is pretty good. Honestly, if pods were a dollar and the unit itself was under $100, I would probably give 3.5 stars. The fact that so many of the pods don’t ever sprout and I now have close to $100 in herb pods is why I would not recommend this product to others. Oh, and one more thing, this thing is bright. Like hard to look at, seeing spots if you do, kind of bright.

Great Performance Growing System
- November 22, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great growing system. I bought two different kinds to see which one performs better. This is very bright so it is not suitable to place in a bedroom and it is on for 10 hours. But this performs really well. We started early November and we ate fresh lettuce the other day, I am considering to buy more.

High quality indoor garden
- March 18, 2023I bought this smart garden 3 weeks ago and now the seeds are all sprouting. In terms of setup and assembly, it is very straightforward and easy to follow. Lighting and design of the indoor garden kit make it both a place to obtain plants and a decorative element for my home.

Fantastic way to grow like a pro
- October 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easy and kinda fun to watch your food grow in the comfort of your house. I prefer C2G because they offer more than just herbs, like bell peppers and flowers.
