Oh the RAM
- November 14, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased these sticks of RAM I was kind of disappointed because I thought they were a bit expensive they came out to $133 with tax included but seeing how the price for RAM had increase I don't regret it and they have been working well that I want to buy another pack of 16Gbs (2 sticks of 8Gbs). I use my PC for gaming, coding and watch a lot of videos/movies and it runs amazingly well (2933 MHz). So if the price ever goes down again don't think twice about it. My PC info: MB: X370 Gaming Plus CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600x

Best upgrade for gaming!!!
- April 2, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I have an Alienware Aurora R7 which originally came with an i5 8400, GTX 1070, and 8GB RAM. This set up is a beast for 1080p gaming at maxed out settings for most games, but I play the Assassins Creed Series and we all know those games are CPU heavy. The i5 8400 should be enough to run this game smoothly over 60fps, but this wasn't the case with AC Origins and AC Odyssey. They game would lag and stutter too much and my FPS would be at around 57. So I upgraded my GPU to the RTX 2070 Super, but I got the same results. This can't be happening! I said, but after doing more research I found out that these games require more than 8GB of RAM. I decided to go with this product and BOOM!!! My games are now so smooth, no stutter, higher FPS...I am so satisfied. No issues with compatibility. 5 stars isn't enough :) In the pics you can see benchmarks before and after, and also ingame performance.

Good buy for my MSI-B450 Tamahawk/Ryzen 5 2600
- January 19, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this memory for my Build: 1. MSI-450 Tamahawk 2. Ryzen 5 2600 3. CORSAIR - VENGEANCE LPX Series 16GB (2PK 8GB) 3.0GHz 4. CORSAIR - RMx Series 750W ATX12V 2.4/EPS12V 2.92 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply 5. CORSAIR - Carbide Series® Air 540 High Airflow Mini-ITX/MicroATX/ATX/E-ATX Mid tower Case 6. So far moving SSD and Hard Drives from Old system This memory was not under suported memory on the MSI Motherboard Site. Intially had problem with Memory Frequency but adjusted frequency using motherboard utilities to get full frequency use. Early test show it is working well with Ubuntu 18.04. Will add Windows 10 Later.

Awesome memory, hits rated speeds.
- April 16, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect upgrade for Ryzen. Was looking for faster memory than my 2400mhz kit and this fit the bill. This memory is perfect at its rated speeds and is near indistinguishable from a 3200mhz c16 kit (they both have similar latency), and this one can even be overclocked to that speed if you want. I keep it at its stock speeds and use the cl15 latency just to keep the overall system latency down. Works perfect and no problems whatsoever. Just make sure to use the rated speeds and you should be good to go. My motherboards XMP profile says 2933 but you can 'overclock' it to its rated speed of 3000mhz and skip using the XMP profile.

I don't trust this brand name
- February 8, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to replace the ram in my computer that was this very brand I bought about 2 or 3 years ago. The original ram that my computer came with was still good. I had added this brand name with that RAM to increase my ram and this ram went bad. Had to replace all 4 sticks of ram because the ram speed had changed on this brand name and no longer matched my original ram speed and the store did not have the original ram that I had previously purchased in stock. Please note that this rating applies to the PRODUCT ONLY. The store staff was very friendly and helpful. I just am not satisfied with the PRODUCT.

Excellent RAM, but do your research!
- November 9, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the price I got this at, and the performance increase was noticed right away, however, I have an Alienware Area 51 R2 (Late 2014) with a X99 Intel chip, and while it does work perfect with it, I was not able to get the XMP profile in the BIOS setting to work with it at all. Every time I would enable it, it rebooted like normal, but would either freeze before Windows loaded, or it would load and go immediately to a black screen and get stuck there. I am using on normal profile with 2133 speeds, which is fine. So unless you OC and know what youre doing, XMP profile didn't work for my set up.

Great RAM.
- May 10, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have never had issues with corsair RAM. Like most I have been stuck at home during the covid 19 lockdown. Looking for something to do I decided to see what I could put together for a decent price that I could dedicate for working on my 3D printing and modeling design projects in Fusion360 . I chose the i5 processor and MSI motherboard and 32 gigs of this RAM as I felt it would meet the demands of the tools required for this work. So far I am very pleased that it has lived up to the tasks intended. I assembled it on a simple vertical open framework and gives it a very Maker like appeal as well.P

Great value and easily overclockable.
- July 4, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a 3.0ghz kit without having to do much work, then I’d recommend buying these sticks and enabling the XMP profile attached to them. I have had a great experience with these sticks. I have even bought the low end 2.4ghz sticks. I was able to overclock those to 3.2ghz easily. The 3.0ghz sticks I managed to get as high as 3.6ghz with a Ryzen 5 3600. Pairing the 2 3.0ghz and 2 2.4ghz sticks and overclocking them to 3.2ghz, I’ve had 0 issues and my system runs them that way daily. For ease, but the better kit. I’m pretty sure the 3000mhz kit costs less now then the 2400mhz kit.

Great for Ryzen
- May 25, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I bought this kit at the height of the RAM price hike, so I payed nearly double what it costs at the current time. but I'm not blaming that on Corsair. Great quality ram, easily able to tune the timings to get the best performance out of my Ryzen 5 1600 @ 4.0ghz. You may or may not be able to get 3000mhz speed on your cpu depending on your motherboard and motherboard bios, initially i was only getting 2933mhz until a bios update. You can always go with faster memory for ryzen but the difference between 3000mhz and 3200mhz isn't much in terms of performance gain and you'll usually end up spending a fair bit more. Also recommended to a friend with a TR 2950x and he's loving it.

Easy install and noticeable improvement!
- May 25, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swapped out a pre-installed 8GB stick on a newly purchased gaming computer, noticeably faster to launch apps and programs, even from the SSD. Note to the unknowing, I thought that since this RAM matched the specs of the pre-installed RAM (DDR4, 3.0 GHz, not Corsair-branded) that it would stack and get me 24GB. Well, according to the OS, it did just that. But trying to play a game, ended up with visible and intolerable lag and clipping that hadn't been there previously. So we shut everything down, pulled the old RAM and just left this in there. Seamless and no problems since!
