[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for starters, people have to understand whatever the time says on any of these, you will more than likely not get that actual time. so when buying, always buy one with a little more "duration" than you want. more devices hooked up, and bigger ones, require more power to operate, 2+2 actually does equal 4. love this though, knew it was big, figured i would make it work, i did, you want a backup, expect it. have everything in my room that is essential during an outage plugged into the backup part, and normal stuff plugged into the standard plug in part. thought that was kind of cool also need to understand what AVR means, and this being a device to "clean" the straggly, dirty, wavy, electricity coming from outside, works awesome. that's the point of it after all. so now with better more stable current to my devices i know i am getting the right flow and i have some heavy things in here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited to write a review to be sure I was giving honest experience feedback. This is worth every cent. I lose power frequently in the winter here in remote Alaska. I have been stuck in my recliner for hours or with a dying cellphone. Neither of those are trivial when you live alone in a remote area. Since I purchased the Cyber Power, there has never been a time that I had to worry about that. I have light, power to run the recliners, operate or charge my computer or cell phone. It has never run out of power even when I had to rely on it for 18 hours. Seriously, I can't say enough good about this product. I would absolutely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this particular model. I was satisfied with the first one and when my needs expanded I bought another of the same. For my needs, this model is a good balance between battery capacity, number and arrangement of plug ports, and reliability. I've been using UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems for decades at work and at home. Years ago I used to purchase the other big brand, especially at work, when it was the supplier with the longest history and best reputation. These days, I believe that CyberPower units are equally reliable and you generally get more for your money. Especially when you can find them on sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backup/surge protection unit with 12 easily accessible outlets. Spacing between outlets great for larger configuration plugs. Optional software download and USB connection good to allow controlled shutdown of computer prior to end of battery life after long duration outage. Only problem was with the instructions. Product registration address was incorrect and had to call to manually register. Also, a little more information could assist in explaining UPS options and capabilities. However, called customer service and they were very helpful. Even walked me thru software download and answered all technical questions effectively.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my battery backup with this new unit recently and it has done well when the power drops out for a split second or for longer durations. I like that the battery is replaceable, as my last unit was their smaller/cheaper model and you cannot access the battery (battery failure was why the old unit needed replacement). This unit did great the other day when the power failed during a storm. I was able to finish what I was doing on my iMac and even plugged a desk lamp into this unit to help me see to finish my task. This is a great unit that has functioned very well during several power outage events. Highly recommended.

I have had this basic product before and have found it to be reliable and easy to set up. Good battery backup for anyone looking for this type of device. FYI: I found many years ago that the electrical outlet I use for my computer DOES NOT provide a steady flow of electric current and that use to cause problems for my system. The battery backup keep the flow of electric to my system flowing at a constant pace, making everything work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second CyberPower 1000VA Battery Back-Up System because I love the other one I have which has protected my online teaching from the times when the power flickered during storms. I'm putting some other equipment in another room and decided to get the same model because it's easy to set up and has great placement of plugs and plug sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great battery backup/surge protector for desktop pc. I also have my 55” tv, PS4 and controllers charging station plugged in. If the power goes out it beeps to let you know it’s running on battery power. Beep alarm can be disabled in settings. It gives you enough time to save anything you’re doing on your computer and safely turn it off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for my WFH setup, I can plug in my router and work computer and all my other essentials into the battery backup outlets to prevent power loss while I’m working and all the outlets are surge protectors so I don’t have to worry about frying my expensive electronics. I’ve had the power go out twice since I purchased it and my work went completely uninterrupted, the battery backup took over immediately without causing any of my tech to shut down. Just make sure you turn off the sound on it so it doesn’t keep beeping when you’re on battery power bc it will get annoying real quick.
