I use Cyberpower UPS everywhere
- November 15, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This UPS is going to replace an older unit that has been protecting my PC for several years. I have three more of them on other electronics in my home. I trust this product.

Backup waveform is hit or miss with electronics
- February 1, 2025[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Electronics generally require a sinusoid. When in backup mode, this puts out severe square waves which may or may not work with your electronics as shown in the attached images. This sort of waveform works well with inductive loads (i.e. refrigerator compressor, air conditioning condenser, etc.) BUT NOT WITH SENSITIVE ELECTRONICS. In this instance, it worked with my desktop, but not the monitor.

Good for the price
- November 4, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using it as a UPS for my NAS and managed switch. No issues so far and the battery has good life for my purposes but plugging more devices in shortens battery life obviously. The NAS is set up to email me if power loss occurs and that has only happened a couple times so the battery backup is working. Good device for the price.

Great for power outages
- October 18, 2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t want to spend over $100 but wanted a extended period of time during power outages for my modem… this seems to be the perfect solution for me and so far had saved me numerous hours of downtime… working remotely almost 100% if the time this is important… we have numerous micro outages that my modem and probably most modems can’t handle with reboot and handshaking with Xfinity taking many minutes.. I calculate my modem will stay on even for an 8 hr outage… I may give that a try when we are not using WiFi but until then I am satisfied .. for ease of use I put 4 stars because driver seems to made for windows … I have a MacBook and haven’t been able to set up … it would be nice to keep track of all outages

A steady friend
- May 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the first CyberPower product I have used. I currently have a mix of brands in use at several places in my house. I replaced another brand of UPS and have the 950VA setup to protect my main networking devices. I have been replacing my other brands with CybePrower as they get older. I like the CyberPower UPSs because they work very well and are affordable. They have the features I am looking for and I have had great luck with them. I like the LCD display but its not something I need or use much. I expect to have many years of good service to come. So far it's been in service for a few weeks now and it has been working just as expected.

Excellent Must Have!
- September 26, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great UPS. Have my gaming rig hooked up this bad boy and it's been great. With recent storms and random power outages/surges, it work perfectly as advertised keeping my system running and preventing reboots. I cannot attest to the battery lifespan with a full load, but it worked sufficiently for charging phones when I was without power for a few days. My only con is there is no way to silence the alarm when your system running on the battery back up. Not sure if other CP UPS models off this option, but I do have a APC UPS that allows you to slience the alarm. Other than that, excellent must have for desktops, modems and routers.

Reliable, light backup power
- January 15, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a 7 year old unit of less capacity. The new unit is more powerful, lighter and less expensive than the former unit it replaced. This unit has a better receptacle layout, plus USB ports. I've had the unit up for a couple of months now and have had one activation. It functioned as advertised with enough power not only to provide time for a shut down, but also to keep everything running for the time I needed to finish my work and conduct an orderly shutdown. This was approximately 20 minutes. The unit supports the following items - 1 desktop computer, 2 monitors, cable modem, router, 3 NAS drives, a floor lamp and our 55" TV. Excellent product.

powerfull enough for most computer setups
- September 14, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This UPS has enough battery power to keep my system on for 18 minutes, more than enough time to gracefully shut down the system. PowerPanel software provides UPS battery health and power useage information. This software also provides a self test. The 12 outlets in two banks, 6 with protection only and 6 with battery backup. They are nicely spaced to accommodate wall warts. Also includes a USB cable to communicate with the pc along with two USB charging ports for smart phones, etc. I find this handy because unlike a USB port on computer, it does not try to connect my phone to the computer, charges only, and fast.

My first CyberPower UPS
- March 26, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always bought APC UPSes in the past but they really let me down. One 650VA unit I had only worked for about 6 months before the battery failed. Since batteries are so expensive, I just replaced it with another 650. That one lasted a little over a year. The last one I had was a 800VA. One of the most annoying things about APCs is that they produce an infernal beeping whenever the battery kicks in that there is no way to disable. At least on my units. I decided to switch things up and go with CyberPower this time. So far this 950 has been ok. I've had no outages yet so I can't really comment on the battery-life.

Great Battery Back up UPS
- May 20, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you just spent a slew of money on PC and peripheral hardware, the $100 you will spend on this UPS is well worth it. I live in an area where the power may brown out in during a summer storm, this UPS will protect all of your hardware. It has multiple surge protected and battery back up outlets, plus multiple surge protected only outlets. 6 of each for a total of 12 plug ins. In addition there are two additional protected USB ports. Enough power for your entire system from a single wall outlet. You will want to unpack this peripheral first as you will need to fully charge the back up battery for about 8 hours.
