At the core of the DN10's impressive output is Definitive Technology’s unique 3XR™ Architecture. This system features a 10-inch long-throw active woofer specifically engineered for deep excursion, which is coupled with two side-firing 10-inch passive radiators. This innovative configuration effectively triples the bass-producing radiating surface area compared to traditional ported subwoofers of similar size. The result is the ability to deliver bass performance comparable to a larger 12-inch ported subwoofer, but with the added benefit of crystal-clear sound, free from any distracting port noise distortion.

Efficient and Dynamic Class D Amplification

The Descend DN10 is powered by a custom Class D digital amplifier, specifically designed for efficiency and to get the most out of the 3XR™ Architecture. This amplifier provides ample power to drive the woofer with authority, ensuring dynamic performance and maximum impact with minimal distortion. It allows the DN10 to reproduce frequencies as low as 28Hz (+/- 3 dB), adding significant weight and realism to your audio.
