About the new album, Double Vision comments: "We wanted to make a record that would be totally our own, but still contain a hat tip (or more) to Foreigner. We didn't want something derivative, but at the same time, something that would appeal to fans of the band. We wanted our own identity and stamp. However, we do feel that a good way to describe the album is that if you took all the different eras of Foreigner and rolled them into one, along with some other sporadic influences, it would sound something like Double Vision.
