Important: Reset your installed drums following below steps (process might be deferent from printer to printer): Step 1 – Once you have done install new Brother DR-210CL laser drum cartridges in your Brother HL-3040CN, turn the printer power switch back on. Take note that you don’t have to reset the drum when you only replace the toner cartridges. Step 2 – Press + or – to choose “Machine Info” in the Brother HL-3040CN control panel. Step 3 – Press OK to proceed to the next menu level, and then press + or – to choose “Reset Parts Life”. Step 4 – Press OK, and then press + to choose “Drum Unit”. Step 5 – Press OK, and then press + or – to choose the color that you replaced. Step 6 – Press OK two times.
