To all those that say this fan doesn't cool. Did you actually think you were buying an airconditioner?? How out to lunch can you be?? THIS IS A FAN. That means the air it blows is the SAME temperature as the air in the room. Why is this so mind blowing for so many of you?? Anything that blows air cooler than the air in the room you're must remove the heat from this air first and then disperse that heat elsewhere. How could you possibly think a fan is capable of that? Lost all faith in the intelligence of society

My wife got these on one of her TV shopping channels when they were a “ todays special value” I thought she was crazy. I love them. We also got 2 of the larger tower air purifier Dyson fans ( without heat feature) they, and my Dyson V10 Animal cordless vacuum have made us HUGE Dyson product fans . Their products are a bit expensive, but they ALL work great.. Dyson ROCKS!

We foster rescued cats, 1/3 of 3 car garage is dedicated to them. Even in S. Calif, it can get to low 40's in winter. This fan not only keep the area warm and comfortable, most of all, it is safe! Its cool to the touch, not like those conventional types with the red hot wires which really looks scary ! I used those before, I could smell something burning which must be from the cat hairs ! Knowing they are comfortable and warm during those wet /cold nights in my garage, I sleep better myself ! We have the central heater running, however, everybody's preference is different. With this fan, they have stopped fighting over the temperature setting !

This product looks amazing. It performs wonderfully, and quietly. I purchased this fan/heater for my office because the AC is constantly running. The rush of the cool air is primarily what makes it uncomfortable. Dyson's fan prevents the cold air form blowing directly on me, and even helps keep the room warm. My only complain is that there is not a way to trigger the heater to turn on when the AC in the building does without constantly turning the temperature up. If there was a way to just move the air ever so slightly instead of heat or cold that might be a good fix. I will attempt to find a good balance, and update my review when I do.

I bought my Dyson heat/cool fan two months ago and first impressions were great. It would heat a room quite well and added a nice aesthetic to the room. But after 2 months already it is making high pitched noises and even gives off a buzzing sound when switched off. In general, the fan is not any quieter than another fan would be. Setting the fan set to 1 speed at night is still noticeable but the sleep timer is useful. The biggest advantage I see this fan having over others is its design. It looks cool but other than that holds no advantage over any other fan on the market. Not worth the outrageous price that is being charged everywhere.

Bought it yesterday and it does a great job at heating bedroom but when oscillating, it makes a clicking noise. Will be returning it.

Have a few Dyson products, and am happy with all. Have the AM05 Hot and Cold, and use it for heating dining room/living room in high rise condo. The AM05 heats and maintains this area in minutes. Needed a heater for the master bedroom, purchased the AM09, the additional features, such as timer, jet focus air stream, quietness and the amount of heat it produces are amazing. Love the timer, I set it to shut down after 3 hours, and room is still warm when I wake up. Obviously, it looks great...that is just an added bonus. If you want a versatile heater/fan, that delivers what it promises and looks great, get this machine, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent choice for my small (500 square foot) one bedroom apartment! Light weight, so easy for me to move around, very quiet and low volume air flow that doesn't blow me over, or blow dust and papers around!! I have high ceilings, so I need some patience for the ambient temperature to warm up - but it is not a big problem!! It may seem a bit pricey, but as I age, I have come to appreciate that true creature comforts are worth an investment in top quality products. I have absolutely no buyer regret at all!!! I am completely satisfied with this product and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who asks my opinion!

Wow what a cool product the A09 fan and heater is. Cool or warm whichever you need. The fan works well at moving the air where you want it. I live in the Dallas area and it was 104F today so this fan helps to keep the air moving in the room farthest from A/C unit in my home. I love the fact that all the assembly was put the base on and go. The remote works well and the unit is excellent at moving air on one area of the room., or throughout. When the grandkids are over I will not have to worry about fan blades harming them.Big thumbs up on this gem . I am looking forward to trying out the heater with the temperature control but that will have to wait till fall.

Bought the heater today, started using it immediately, very quiet and works fine but my only disappointment is the power of the fan, if you have a large living room and connecting hallways or kitchen you will be disappointed with this unit. To me this heater is designed for a very small living room or large bedroom/office or similar. Any larger living space and it won't be able to keep up with heating as the unit which is quite small and compact has not got the fan power to do the job I bought it for. I definaltly would recommend to anyone who has a small living space, the unit has great features and looks very stylish.
