The screens are the weakest link. - Good overall
- October 11, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good speakers. The remote though doesn’t seem to turn them on. The power from the remote will only turn the blue mode on. I’m guessing this is the Bluetooth mode. But when this happens I can’t hear the speakers at all. The remote doesn’t even turn them fully on where the light is green. Only when the light is green am I able to hear them. When manually powered on green one speaker will turn on and then small wait time the other will turn on. But it does have good sound and they look nice. The screen cover over the speakers is the only thing besides the plug that looks cheap. The screens look like they used just any off brand screen and glued them on. I would have liked a more durable stronger screen. These feel like one poke just from moving them with puncher the screen. The price is the thing that I didn’t like the most. I just don’t feel like they were worth the almost two hundred dollar market. These are just basic good speakers I’m happy with them but if I were to move I don’t know if they would stay in One piece especially the screens.

Owned them 5+ years
- May 20, 2023Not sure how long I've owned these, they left my my gaming cpu for the television, I didn't need speakers with this much range for gaming. They have so much range, think they're 49 RMS a piece, not bad at all. I've used these outside on the deck, lots of places. I'd recommend to anyone who A, loves loud, and B, would like their speakers to be used continually (continually on) for 5+ years. I'd buy another pair if I needed them, used edifier headphones for thousand of hours too. Also I bought a pair of these for my old man who is a record collector who grew up in the late 60's and 70's who cranks them louder than me on his little setup.

Very impressed
- January 18, 2026These speakers are great bang for the buck - I am very impressed with the quality of sound, ease of install and how seamless it is to connect to BT. I don't have a huge living room, but the sound really fills the space nicely. A big upgrade over my last set.

Amazing Speakers!!
- November 29, 2020I would recommend these speakers over and over again. Saw the Logitech Z606 (5.1) same price. Picked it up just to return them the next day. Saw these computer bookshelf speakers. Read the reviews and drove 60km to the nearest best buy that had them. I was up until 2am testing movies and going through my playlist. Nice high and lows. Gets good bass and nice treble.

Good value
- January 21, 2021Have used this for about a week on my TV. Overall it is a good value for the money. However, I would not recommend it for critical listeners. Good mids, but can get a little muddy. If you are looking for something that is very crisp and clear, then I would recommend investing in something better. Also the bass is not so great for movies.

What A Great Gift - Great Sound
- June 23, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great speakers for an office. I got them from my kids for my birthday. The speakers connect easily to different devices such as my computer, my phone, and strangely my smartwatch. The remote can be a bit goofy, but I don't notice it much anymore since I control the volume from my computer keyboard. The only thing that really annoys me about these speakers (and I assume most bluetooth speakers) is to be blamed on Microsoft Windows 10. It ticks me off every time I update, reset, or purchase a new computer that I have to to into the registry and disable absolute volume... You can find those instructions on the Internet, provided you are asking about absolute volume.

What I was looking for
- February 12, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace my old Bose computer speakers. I was never happy with their somewhat boomy and constricted sound, but limited desk space also limited my choices until Bluetooth came along. I listen to a wide variety of music, but classical—particularly orchestral—is my acid test for speakers. I'm very pleased with these: the sound is balanced, accurate, and spacious. I use them in a smallish home office (about 10X12), and they fill the room nicely. There's a subwoofer connection, but I don't think I'll be needing it. Another big plus for me is the manual tone controls. It would have been nice to have them on the remote, because I put the speakers behind me high up on a shelf, but that's a very minor quibble.

Diitched mp3 for flac ? These are for you.
- April 24, 2024Just fine for streaming. For tv and movies most folks would probably not notice much improvement over average. Others might notice the absence of the more usual awful and annoying traits and consider that a big improvement. Where they really standout is music. Most computer speakers, even thx certified are designed for high impact of games and movies. If you're familiar with how great a piece of music sounds on an old-school stereo (buds are not old-school) most computers speakers are no pleasure to listen to. These ones are terrific for tunes. A little EQ tweak to match the room and your system and away you go. OK, the remote is cheap and cheesy, but thats not what most of us use for volume control anyway. The only way to do better is spending serious cash at specialty store selling instruments and electronic gear to musicians. Love music? Tight budget? These are the ones you're looking for..

Nice but Tethered, not stand alone L & R speakers
- January 17, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1/16/2022. These are nice looking and sound fine, however when I selected these speakers I hadn't anywhere reviewed that they are tethered together via a power/audio cable between left and right speakers, One speaker (the right) has a power cable. Perhaps I'm ignorant most stereo BT speakers but their having to be tethered limits the ability for these to be separated across a room or crowded book case(s). They sound fine and look nice, simply wished to point out they are tied to one another and not stand alone with each Bluetoothed.
