Bring detailed, balanced sound to your stereo or home theatre system with the ELAC Debut 3.0 DB53 bookshelf speakers. Designed to deliver impressive performance from a compact enclosure, the DB53 combines updated driver technology, refined cabinet engineering and a contemporary Black Ash finish for music, movies and multi-channel listening.
A custom 1" aluminum dome tweeter is precisely tuned for the Debut 3.0 series to deliver clear, detailed high frequencies with smooth extension. Its lightweight and rigid construction helps reproduce subtle musical and soundtrack details with accuracy while providing an open, engaging presentation.
The newly developed 5.25" aramid-fiber woofer combines strength, low mass and natural damping to produce clean midrange reproduction, dynamic bass and controlled low-frequency performance. Paired with the tweeter in a 2-way design, the DB53 provides balanced sound across a wide range of music and movie content.
A bass-reflex enclosure with dual-flared ports enhances low-frequency performance while helping minimize unwanted port noise. Internal cabinet bracing reinforces the enclosure to reduce vibration and resonance, allowing more of the sound you hear to come from the drivers rather than the cabinet.
With a frequency response of 48 Hz to 38 kHz (-6 dB), 6-ohm nominal impedance and 86.5 dB sensitivity, the DB53 is designed to work with a wide selection of stereo amplifiers and AV receivers. ELAC recommends amplifier power from 20 to 120 watts, while five-way metal binding posts provide a secure and versatile speaker connection.
The Debut 3.0 series also brings a cleaner, more contemporary appearance to ELAC's affordable speaker lineup. Magnetically attached grilles create a hardware-free front when installed and can be easily removed to display the drivers. The Black Ash vinyl cabinet and satin black front provide a versatile finish that integrates easily into modern listening rooms and home entertainment systems.
Compact enough for bookshelves, stands or smaller rooms, yet engineered for serious listening, the ELAC Debut 3.0 DB53 is an excellent foundation for a dedicated stereo setup or part of a complete Debut 3.0 home theatre system.
