FiiO K17 – Desktop DAC & Headphone Amplifier
The FiiO K17 is a flagship all-in-one desktop DAC and headphone amplifier designed to deliver reference-grade audio performance for high-end headphones and desktop listening systems. Combining flagship AKM DAC technology, a powerful fully balanced discrete amplifier stage, and advanced DSP features, the K17 acts as the central hub of an audiophile desktop setup.
At the heart of the K17 is a premium DAC architecture built around AKM AK4191 + dual AK4499EX chips, delivering exceptional resolution, dynamic range, and ultra-low distortion. Its fully balanced discrete amplifier circuit uses an OP + transistor current amplification design with high-quality ON Semiconductor components, capable of producing up to 4000mW per channel in balanced mode—more than enough to drive demanding planar and high-impedance headphones.
The K17 also integrates an advanced 31-band lossless parametric EQ, powered by a dedicated DSP chip capable of double-precision 64-bit processing. This allows precise sound tuning while maintaining studio-grade fidelity. Users can adjust gain, Q values, and frequency bands to match different headphones or personal listening preferences.
Designed for versatility, the K17 supports multiple digital and analog inputs, including USB, Ethernet, optical, and coaxial connections, along with wireless streaming via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The large 3.9-inch touchscreen provides easy access to system controls, EQ settings, and classic VU meter displays.
With powerful hardware, extensive connectivity, and refined tuning options, the FiiO K17 functions as a high-performance DAC, headphone amplifier, and network streaming hub for serious desktop audio systems.
