[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Border shifts in color from picture to picture, if you lay them out side by side they go through the whole color spectrum, including black. Make sure you have a camera that takes this size. Some cameras take the wide film, this is mini. The colored border does not affect the picture, it's the same film as all the other Instax mini films, except for monochrome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The INSTAX RAINBOW film is essentially the same product as the normal instax (white-bordered) film.. images will result the same and aside from the border, the product is the same. That's a good thing! The rainbow border means that instead of the white frame, you get a colored frame (whether it's pink, purple, orange, red, yellow, green, blue, etc..) I find it to be a nice change from the Instax white border and is one of the few Instax films that does not have logos/icons (most are themed), which is great. You can still write on them as with normal film, but some of the darker frames will be harder to write on unless using a metallic marker. The only downside is that the price is a bit higher than normal (white border) film.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The film quality is really good and I would have given it 5 stars if the price was somewhat lower. I just find the price high given the fact that, let's face it, the majority of the demographic who will use these cameras are kids. So we taught our granddaughters to think carefully about what they were going to photograph, so on one hand I suppose it's a teaching moment about spending wisely, on the other hand, some of the most fun "selfies", etc. taken on our phones are the most precious. Still, it's good quality film.

Easy to use handy cartridge of ten sheets so you can take ten photos which are about the size of a credit card This rainbow one has different color borders to write your own message or you can leave it blank The little ones like the rainbow film a lot and enjoy the added mystery of what color will border their instant photo I purchased the single pack GREAT colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was getting these I didn't know what to expect. I thought they were just a cheezy gimmick, however the color frames are a nice touch. There are different colors in the package and some of the frames have a a transition effect between two colors instead of just one solid color. The film itself seems to be of decent quality. Just to clarify the film itself is a color film not black and white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like my childhood Polaroid, this film is expensive enough to guarantee that only quality artistic photos will be taken. I am excited to teach my five year-old niece how to frame her shots and find the perfect angles and lighting to ensure that the pricey film does not go to waste. With camera phones taking as many pictures as one desires, I believe this is an important lesson to be learned.

The cameras, while simple and nostalgic at its best, keeps my daughters occupied and creative! The pictures produced are what they are once you consider the type of camera and it’s cost. The stickable photos were also a hit to help keep the excitement and creativity up! Must have for this camera.
